..Function of the husband in Islam..part1 In Islam, it's not an obligation for the husband to be "financially strong". He is only required to earn a livelihood and rely on the compassion and generosity of friends/family when difficult times come. If there is no caring generosity among people, then marriage/family system is not required. More mental hospitals maybe required. A man is not required to make his wife feel "financially fulfilled", he is only required to spend on household by his earning AND generosity from friends/family. Question can be asked if the man supports his household by dependence on other people,does it not make him unmanly? Culture says so. Islam says something else. In Islam, manliness is in his character and religion. If the man does not get support when needed not only he will lose manhood he will become partly insane. It's the generosity among people(giver and receiver) that will keep people psychologically stable. People who believe in being "financially strong" can become cruel people (in heart) because they consider other people as cruel and can't be trusted. The motivation for them to be "financially strong" is their indirect hate for receiving compassion from others. A person's belief indirectly says a lot about the person's character. Islam allows a man to be "financially strong" only if he believes izzah(honour) and Quwwa(emotional resoluteness) comes from Allah, not job,not wealth, not status in society.And. certainly not from fake religiosity. "Ghairath" is a cultural term for looking down on people based on human stupidity. Honour is a completely different thing defined Allah Al Aziz. Manly behavior towards daughters, daughter in law,sons and son in laws.. How does a man act towards his married daughter's behavior? A real man can judge his daughter's expressions and can sense that a disease of stupidity is about to come and he needs to take action right away. If a daughter says "I need to be financially strong" or "My dream is to do masters degree of human stupidity", her father must say immediately "Your psychotic dreams are not important, your family's sanity is better for you". This will bring sanity to everyone around. If the man knows his married daughter is always on the phone with her mother,he should tell this daughter "You must be taking care of your own home, not our home. Obey your husband" A man's relationship with his son in law. How the man shows his authority ( with kindness) with his married daughters is the best education for the son in law. If the married daughter visits her father, he must ask if she had sought her husband's permission. A man's influence on his daughter in law. If the man sees any weird or egoistic behaviour in her daughter in law,he can make a statement to shame her without pinpointing her.. An example would be "women who corrupt other women's character are the worst of people and I wouldn't allow them to enter my home" How do women corrupt other women's character? Using communication tricks of the Shaitan. In human relations, how something is said is far more important than what is said. Some evil people can can corrupt another simply by saying something in a certain evil tone. For example a women asks another woman "What gift did your husband give you on Eid". Next, the stress response gets started, psychotic thinking starts, delusions happen, harshness with children starts, over eating starts and there's agitation in the speech. Worship is supposed to take care of this insanity. If the confidence in the Deen is too weak, take lemon for temporary relief from the symptom
