That is no excuse,, I would and have slept in my car rather than put a family members down - which is any animal but has been my dogs, as they are FAMILY. Would you put a special human down (like your partner, child, friend ) I guessing you may if you wouldn't be up for a criminal offense,and for the record I am in a wheelchair so it wasn't easy. The reason I no longer have a dog even though I would love and protect them to the end is because it is too hard getting reliable pet sitters or ones that I could afford)because I spend quite a bit in hospital
