A dog's olfactory bulb (the part of the brain that process smelling) has 300 million receptors compared to us humans that only has 6 million receptors. Dogs dedicate their entire lives to memorize smells and it doesn't matter how much perfume you use or how thick your costume is, your dog WILL be able to detect you through it. Dogs weren't scared here, more like they're thinking why their owner is wearing some weird costume and probably thinking the owner wants to play with them.

They knew it's their human, through his "scent" despite the Dino costume. Dogs have powerful sense of smell. It's one of their most unique and awesome characteristic.🐕😊
