Husqvarna 365 special stock 2012 and a Chinese Huztl saw with a 52mm BB kit.
The Huztl saw has been case matched while split in half and a little bit of grinding on the ports.

I fitted the 50mm top end to my 365 and ported it and decked it to .5 mm squish, opened the muffler up and it fly’s pulling a 30 inch bar in pine. When sharp and setup right it will hold its own against the 90's but as soon as it starts to go dull the 90 will kill it. All a bit of fun, ideally with the 20 inch bar on it screams through larger branch wood and it’s defiantly quicker than a stock 390 by a small margin. That said last year I turned up to a working bee with my little saw as the other guys said they had big saws. One guy had some big old Poulan and the other a 365 the same as mine. The Poulan had a 36inch bar and was dog slow. So I fitted the 30inch to mine and effectively ringed up two 6 foot butt end pines. By the afternoon I was cringing thinking how long can this thing keep this up. I took 10 liters of gas and burnt that up and started into one of the others (nervously) That thing must have got through 13-14 liters working its guts out with out on that big bar without skipping a beat. There was no comparison between my saw and the stock 365. All that said this season I want a 390, I like the way they run.

+Bugger That The 390 is great. IF you can wait to find a good used one you stand to get it for about $500 like I did. One thing I don't particularly care for is the chain tensioner but if your careful tensioning it wont be a problem.

My personal flavor is the husky brand. I own several. However I would make a recommendation for you. I noticed you pushing and pulling on the saw. Your chain makes all the difference in the world. Knowing the specs of your chain isn't enough. Knowing how to properly sharpen and maintain that tooth and the height of your rakers and what grind and chisel type you are running are huge factors. Rakers are a little known factor that's huge too. These are key to a fast saw.The file height in relation to the tooth is important stuff as well. That's how I'm able to take a bone stock saw and out cut one that's modified. No matter how big your saw is, it's a boat anchor with a dull chain and will wear you out in the wood pile cutting all day. You must remember these saws are engineered to a certain spec and you would be a much happier camper mastering the chain sizes, types, and the art of razor sharp chains. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for your advice I am still learning. I had the rakers down a fair bit just before the chain got jumpy. I was happy to have it cutting straight.

Hey, we're all learning. That's what it's about. Learning from friends, right? I find that clamping the bar in a vice and using a file with a file guide and getting up close where you can see with good lighting makes a big difference in how sharp your chain comes out. Use the same number of strokes on each cutter and you can usually by a filing kit and it will also have a raker guage. Also I bought a stump vise, love it. Nice chattin witj ya.

I have HUSQVARNA 365 special.It is relatively new.On the decompression valve and under have little oil and carbon. Anyway,It seems that chainsaw work normal and the compression is good... I don't use decompression valve for starting..Sorry for my bad english.Thanks for your answer...

390 385 576 575 365 371 372 west coast big dogs is what they take I just put them on they are bigger then stock 395 dogs and work great and I have 395 394 and I don't think the dogs are the same

Never push the saw in to the timber.the weight of the saw should go down through the timber itself.

это не цирк , а сравнительный тест меж оригинальной хускварной 365 с поршневой 48мм и китайским клоном с поршневой в 52 мм .. видно , что клон немного , едва заметно , уверенней пилит
