I use Coolride cartridges (diameter 14mm with a M8 hole for the handguards) on my Norden. So you don't have the Cables from the heating gribs and no gaps between the throttle and the grib. But you have to drill a 8 mm hole in the bar.

Nice Video. I had the same issues with the throttle side. After installed, I really like the ease of use with the button right there, a light for the heat level, and remembering last setting.

Oxford grips are very good as they have a wide range of heat plus they detect if there is a current draw when the motor is off then cut out. My only gripe is that the grip is smooth rather than having a cushioned dirt bike type feel. I know what you were going through when you were struggling with the throttle side grip. Oxford grips come with a super glue but I never use it as there is the danger of it drying quickly with the grip halfway in. I aLways use high strength construction adhesive, which allows the grip to slide on and give you time to adjust it then it sets like a rock.

I have these on my 890. The cone shape on the throttle sleeve can be cut off/removed so the throttle grip fits flush. Did you also use hairspray on the left grip that’s mounted directly on the handlebar?
