I own a Norden 901 expedition. at 6ft tall it is tall but only a bad rider needs both feet on the ground at the same time. As for the heat! its not coming off the engine and its not a cooling fan issue, its all coming from the cat, which can be solved by a aftermarket heat shield that some companies make, Get rid of the heat, or the cat, learn to put only 1 foot down when stopped, and this is a 10/10 bike!

I’ve had my Norden for about 10 months now, came from a naked sport bike. It has been quite an adjustment for me, while also learning how to ride off pavement. The heat is definitely real, I noticed it a lot less when I bought a pair of Alpine Stars Tech 7s. The quickshifter between 2nd and 3rd annoyed the hell out of me for the first 1,000 miles…then it just went t away. My big three cons start with having to think more about getting a foot on the ground, especially on the trails. I’m 6’ tall and this mild panic is totally new to me, hoping it wears off over time. My second is the foot pegs being so high, positive thing is there are after market options to address this. My third is the wind buffeting. It is very strange because it doesn’t move my head around, it’s just insanely loud above 65mph. This can be fixed with a different windscreen, but you then have to worry about getting a throat punch on the trails…so if I’m going to be riding at high speed I make sure to wear ear protection. Overall I’m very happy with my choice. I consider the Ducati DX, KTM 890, Aprilia 660, and the Tiger RP. Happy new year and I’ll keep and eye out for the 890 comparison.

I'm a Norden owner, very happy by now. I'm 1,90 m tall, and I find the pegs hi as well, but I got used to this very quickly. The standing position is something that I love, even being a tall guy. I prefer this attack position rather than Touareg, o Tenere's. I bought Norden instead of 890 because I expected a bit better road manners, I'm not sure it is true but I don't regret buying it, it is a bit more elegant? Place to be. Off-road you can jump and ride it perfectly I guess if you are not a hardcore rider. I find the brakes superb, I use to brake with one finger. The heat from the engine is not a problem anyway for me. What I don't like is the wind protection, and maybe that the engine is not a smooth one (for example like Touareg's), it seems like a one cilindre engine when riding in steady revs. But I tell you, I love this bike!

The only thing i am afraid off. Is the reliabilty of those ktm huski cf moto machines

I sold my Tiger 800 due to unbearable engine heat... wonder how this compares! Or any mods to alleviate any of the heat?

Do you work at a shop or sell bikes? I am stationed in Germany and would totally come to you in Poland to get me set up properly!!

Anyone have concider lowering the suspensions of this bike with the toutatech -30mm kit ?

I’ve never been a big fan of this bike. It would be great if it existed in a vacuum. If this was the only adventure type motorcycle out there, I would be breaking all traffic laws on my way to the dealer. But it’s not. I’ve also never liked that single round headlight on the front. It definitely doesn’t look retro,and to whatever degree it DOES look retro,it looks out of place. The retro design language and the adventure design language should never coexist on the same bike. But then again I like the looks of the Tuareg and I know a lot of people don’t like the look of that bike! Also,V-Told,I’d love to know what city/area you’re riding in! I’m not even able to identify the country! Cheers!

Fajny kanal ale nie znam angielskiego. Rozumiem, ze chcesz dotrzeć do większej publiki ale przynajmniej jak nie chcesz nagrywavc testów w Twoim jezyku ojczytym to przynajmniej szanujac Polskich ludzi oglądających Twoj kanal a nie rozumiejacych jezyka angielskiego wystarczy dodać napisi w j. polskim.
