The 2021 models have fully adjustable suspensions as far as I know, so it should be a better bike for us heavy riders.

All that really does is let you control dampening for a compression and rebound. To get the bike to fit you right, you need to change the springs. On this model, and the newer ones. Which isn’t that hard to do.

Awesome review! Thank you. I’ve (although far from a learner) have always had more fun on bikes that you can get the most out of. It would become my favourite over any Superbike I have or previously had for that very reason. Anyone can go fast in a straight line. What’s nice is to tech a coffee shop (when riding a little bike compared to litre bikes) when you’re already half way through your first coffee before others arrive and can’t believe it! 👍😎

Those illuminated switch housings are a nice feature for sure. A bit stiffer suspension would be nice for the aggressive rider, a debugged transmission as well of-course. Really nice looking cafe racer style, thanks for the video and keep them coming👊👍

The red light isn’t really a shift light, per se. It’s probably giving you an indicator of red line. It’s a single cylinder. All the torque is down low anyway. You probably wanna shift way before you’re seeing that red light.

No quick shifter mate...don't know of any 400 class bikes that come with quick shifters

@@bikehubjapan i heard 2021 has it and a auto blip as well. Is that the 2021 model? It a nice town bike. Im looking into getting one. Im kind of done with 1k cc bikes lol

you can tell by the color of the bike in the video thats its the 18/19 model. they have this pearl white and yellow styling and were built in austria for quite a hefty amounf of money. from 2020 on the vitpilen comes in more of a silvery color and is 4cm longer, as well as having a quick shifter (up and down) and an adjustable frontsuspension. they are built in india for a lot less money however.

@@bikehubjapan Just rode my bike in West New York, NJ. Totally different worlds. Can’t wait to get back to Japan! In November 2019 I went to Tokyo, Nara, and Kyoto. Hopefully next time I can stay and never leave!
