Same man. MW2 and GTA 4 were the first games I ever played online. GTA 4 came with my PS3 80GB fat and I got MW2 for Christmas in 2009. I was in 7th grade. Those were the days man. Then a year later we got RDR. The golden years of gaming imo. I'm 27 now and I only play PC, but the golden age is long gone. It was way better back before all this lazy money hungry evil corporate BS

@@Nicklovesmw2 he wasn’t wrong. Look no further than the futuristic CoDs with arena style maps, fast movement, and wall running. The game is not fun without camping and defensive style play. Accordingly, we’ve seen call of duty distance itself from that style, because it sucks and players think it’s boring.

Brandon Smith I was more talking about the point that wings makes when he said "If everybody rushes, the game would be boring". While AW is not boots on the ground as you say, Domination in that game is literally nonstop capping objectives and base rushing instead of defending the obj like Wings does in this video. He was right.

JackBauered770 If youre losing it is important to rush and cap but if you are holding two positions and midpoint (basically spawn trapping) there is no need to rush and trying to cap. A lot has changed since then though, map designs kill streaks, movement, and switching sides during domination. Both of them have valid points which is why COD is great. There are different types of players. People who slay (get high kill streaks and dont play obj) then there are defense players (that protect flags and bases and get small kill streaks to help the slayer(s). They are both good and each position is just as important as the other. Without slayers (hutch) you would end up spawn trapped in the back, without defenders (wings) you would lose the game because you didn't have anyone defending. Both have good arguments and having mixed players is really what makes a "pub" team great . So to me both are right.

Brandon Smith Hmm. If I implied that I thought everyone should play defensive I apologize because that's not what I meant. I agree the game needs some people (hutch) to get out there and cap those flags. Meanwhile there are still people (wings) who need to be defending the flags. The point that i tried to make by implying that "wings is right" is if someone leaves there spawn and dies in 2 seconds because somebody rushes into it, nobody gets mad at the dude for rushing. Meanwhile, someone who holds C decides to rush into A and try and cap alone and dies then proceeds to bitch about "some faggit camping in their spawn" ?? That's moronic logic. I implied Wings was right because Hutch acted like every single person needs to be running around like a chicken with there head cut off and Advanced Warfare proved that it will be boring when everyone does that.

+JackBauered770 There should be a balance. If everyone camped it would be boring as fuck to play. Lets put it this way, You look at the CoD scene right now and about half the player base has stopped playing. This tells the creators that there has to be a balance between each playstyle, not just one dominating the other.

I actually think it represents two timeless play style arguments that have existed since competitive sports has. And you can really analyze this debate on a philosophical level if you want, maybe it is pointless but I think it is still relavent.
