ghanta ka badhiya? LV side open karna bolta hai.. but in figure LV side SC karke rakha hai.. khud confuse hai our humko confuse kar rahha hai

Sir why we kept LV open ? Any reason And can we give supply from LV side and measurement taken from HV side

magnetizing current test is the test to find the current taken by the HV winding without load,so LV need to be open, same, LV side magnetizing current may be taken. when you apply voltage on LV side, the voltage induced at HV side will be very high as per ratio of transformer and oyr testing cable insulation may not withstand the higher voltage, may damage the cable..

Lv side short but fuses are not inserted... So it's open circuit
