My heat works fine, but having it on is making me feel sick due to a low frequency vibration that causes horrible pressure in my ears as if I’m on an airplane, so I have it off. It sounds rhythmic as if music is playing at times and I can place a bottle of water on the bed and you can clearly see the vibration, it feels like a truck is running next to the bed It was impossible to sleep or to get relief from the ear pressure so I just switched the breaker off until I can get HVAC out. I keep hearing about the reversing valve but haven’t any idea…Any suggestions on what it could possibly be, would be so appreciated! Ty!

My new heat pump shakes my house when the compressor kicks in. I does sound like a truck stop or air brakes.

I would think so because allEquipment I've worked on that has microchannel coils use less refrigerant to do the same work. They should have included some information with that coil along those lines. They are very sensitive to charge. I would think typical less charge because of the smaller volume of the microchannel but it does the same work because better heat transfer.

Typically. . A lot of typos and I can't edit it lol.

embrace the technoligy,,,,,,,lol no dou't micro channel holds a lot less refrigerant .i was always told you could not use micro channel on heat pumps for this reason all york heat pumps were copper coils when they stitched over to micro channel straight cool condensers ,first time i herd of micro channel being used on heat pumps ,i would say its a dumb idea .no room for refigerant hence the higher pressure .probley 1/2 the volume of a copper coil

My guess it only works with the compensator.

Just when the industry gets 100 percent away from tube and fin and we have micro channel down pat they'll totally do away with compression style cooling and we'll be right back to square one. Can't wait.

I'll never have another heat pump. Between the noise and the high maintenance, it was the worst system I've ever had.

These units are too noisy. I cannot stand our neighbors unit. When it shuts off it sounds like a train engine coming in.

This was a sign of poor customer education. A potential non profit callback. The installers should have explained the normal functioning of this unit.
