Music meets video meets installation: The track 'Cool Melt' is - like the electronic duo’s album 'Trialog' - the result of a trialogue with artist Clemens Wolf and the visual artists lichterloh. At the heart of the project are materials and the processes of their transformation, addressed on all three artistic levels and wrapped up in a single work. Each track is therefore a self-contained piece comprising installation, music and video.

So glad I FINALLY discovered this sweet twosome a few years ago. I truly dig a certain innocence and frenetic feel they bring. Their music is adorable, yet not sappy, pretentious, or stupid. Merely a killer mix of stellar electro, great sparse vocals, just really phreaking good. Enough!

The medium appears to be Cerrobase or low-melt alloy. This metalloid is like butter. It transitions to a semi-solid or nearly liquid state at a very low temperature, when compared to actual metals. Great effect. Well done and great track! Thanks

It's tin-lead. Same material used in solder. It's easy to melt (183C) and creates good work of art.
