I started playing this game recently. I used codes for my first spins and got Magnet on my first ever pull. I then got Magma and Ice not too much later. Also, while spinning; I ended up spinning Bomb-Fruit 7 times in a row. Not gonna be able to awaken those Logia for a while, but I have something to look forward to.

The reason that you were able to awaken, even though you didn’t kill kaido five times it’s because you don’t have to specifically kill him five times in a row. You just have to have killed him five times ever so it doesn’t have to be like on one server in a row. It can be like you could’ve killed him five times ever I did this with Marco when I was trying to get the book of soru.

HW, lil fact. ALL V2'S PROGRESS SAVES FOR ALL, so next v2 is get lvl 300 and that's all. You already have 30 titles and u already killed 5 kaidos, so it's gonna be much easier now

This is a bit late but you could’ve solo’ed Kaido by using a fruit like dragon v2 or nika and then switched to ice or magma and then finished them off and you would’ve still gotten credit. Just thought that this would be a bit easier.
