PAPAJI - Freedom needs no process

This is an extract from Papaji's Satsang on the 3rd of August 1993.
Papaji answers the question, "What is it that is preventing my mirror from aligning itself with yours?"
Papaji, "It is your desire for alignment. Don’t rise the thought of ‘I am prevented.’ This is also dust in the mirror which is always shining bright. Let there be no mirror in your hand at all, then you are free. Watch the activity of your mind and keep quiet."
Papaji tells the story of Bodhidharma meeting the Emperor of China. Bodhidharma pushed the Emperor into the water, and the Emperor obtained instant enlightenment.

It's amazing because it's always the same thing and it's always simple. He read the question and i'm like, hmm that's a good question, it's hard, then his answers is always so simple. We are trying too hard. That's our problem.

There have always been a lot of that in spiritual lectures. I have listened to many lectures and always you could hear coughs.

You are fortunate enough to have been blessed by the interest/desire in Satsang, and coughing is the only thing you take from it :) Don't let this disturb you, otherwise you miss what the Teacher shares.
