I like the way Hwoarang beats Jin, then Jin's mum, then his uncle, then his girlfriend. If Kazuya was next, would be eliminating all traces of his rival 😄 🤣

That's good. The only problem is that they haven't given him a tool to close the distance and his neutral frames are very bad and linear. Of course, once you land a launcher, the opponent is basically dead. You need about 2 good launches to win a round. The problem is, launching with Hwo is difficult.

I think that spin kick he does at 1:50 is his new biggest tool that helps him get in and I'm pretty sure it leaves him positive. But yeah I definitely get what yer saying

DF+3 from RFF is suppose to be his new gap closer and it puts him in RSS where his best moves are.

As for as I can tell his combo damage actually looks quite low (especially com to Jin/Kaz, who seem like they can do 50% off almost anything now), these are mostly Sky rockets with lots of wall.... his T7 output looked higher

WTF FLYING EAGLE HAS A BLUE SPARK? HOW?? although i did notice that 3/4 knocked away sometimes during a combo and gave more damage, but in turn compromised the combo and pushed the opponent too far away for a follow up. but a just frame?! goddamn you outdone yourself this time Bazz 🙏

I’ve worked it out! If you end up doing the Just Frame version of 3~4, You cannot use it to bound combos as the pushback is different and projects them further away. I never noticed it had blue sparks!! Does this mean Lightning Halberd also has a Just Frame version? 🧐

@@purprang Lightning halberd does have a blue spark. It says so in the command list.

@@purprang Blue spark is essentially a powered up version of a move right? Like JFSR.

Yes correct, As you know JFSR has better frames on block compared to its non JF counter-part. In the case of Flying Eagle (LFF 3/4), the JF version gives more damage.

0:45 Why does a simple 1 2 punches unable to hit Jun after Hwoarang have blocked that long string of moves from her? Shouldn't Jun be in negative frame after that blocked attack?? I'm quite new to Tekken so I don't know how that works

I didn’t get to play the CNT so I am not sure but those last jumping kicks she did in that string look like highs to me. High attacks in tekken are either safe or even plus on block. You need to scout them out and duck at the right moment to punsih them. Not easy to pull off in game but very rewarding down the line. Good luck and enjoy the journey!!

Right? It LOOKS like a low but Hwoarang's body looks to block it like a mid or something 🤔🤔 Maybe it's a new low block animation? I mean it looks better than crouching completely but idk.
