We're back with PART TWO of our experience at the West Coast Classic (North American West Semifinal). Michele, Mat, Jake and O'Keefe run the Triple 3 course, Aimee leads a HWPO LIFT workshop, and Coach Josh just about has a heart attack. Get all the tidbits you DIDN'T see on the competition floor, and get HYPED for the Games this summer.

Amazing to me how Mat pretty much never got seriously injured during CrossFit Champion days but then blows out his knee when he retires… but then again it’s Mat… so I’d only imagine the extent of his solitary focused spartan lifestyle

His coach, Michele Letendre, joined HWPO as Head of Affiliate Programming when HWPO acquired her company Deka Comp, which offered affiliate programming. I think that Pat joining HWPO is a result of this acquisition.

@@MarcJansmayeah I don’t think that Vellner would be happy if he won the games and had to credit it to HWPO - I’m sure his training is about the same (where it’s him and his coach doing their thing), but he’s now affiliated with hwpo cause of his coach

@@natefrazee8235 He even said on Sevan Podcast he's still training the same. His coaching hasn't changed but HWPO gets to claim credit now.

anyone would call out this event was soooooo empty. Honestly a joke, US semifinal are so spoiled. We get to see the best. But look at oceanic and European semifinal that looked fun!!! Move the games overseas.
