Thank you for the tour. I will be taking my wife + kids (newborn, 2-year-old, and 4-year-old) + and parents (in their 60s) here later this year (late summer most likely). You reckon there's something here for everyone?

There will be plenty to for your whole family. If you google Tamaya Times you can get an idea of the vast array of planned activities. Everything from gourd painting to bread baking, jewelry making. Hikes, bikes. It's a gorgeous spot. Enjoy.

@@jonathanpeters1859 Thank you! We were thinking a cruise for this summer, but turns out babies have to be at least 6 months old (which our newborn will not be) to go on a cruise. So with the little kids we wanted to limit a flight to two hours or less (we’re in LA), and ABQ is a two-hour flight from LAX, so we thought, “Why not?” All of our first times to New Mexico.

@@LoganAllec, You will love New Mexico it's really a beautiful place. You can take the Road Runner train over to Santa Fe, the station is about 20 minutes by car from the Hyatt Tamaya. Santa Fe is a really special place, loads of character, very walkable, tons of interesting shops and restaurants. Have a great trip.

There’s a big film industry in New Mexico and lots of big name stars stay there when their filming. You never know who you might see when you stay there!

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul filmed in Albuquerque. In fact there's a cottage industry of Breaking Bad tour buses that take you around to all the fabled locations depicted in the series.
