Fans are dumb because fans literally said this can damage the reputation of ILLIT too, so do u think HYBE, who is trying to compete with other companies, are trying to ruin New Jeans AND ILLIT at the same time? HYBE needs a top girl group to fight against their competitors, so they won't throw away their top girl groups for no reason. In fact, Min Hee Jin is the one who plotted to accuse HYBE for copying New Jeans (plotted this even before ILLIT debuted) and Min Hee Jin is the one who dragged ILLIT and LSF into this.
