오히려 제한된 적은 예산으로 최대의 퀄리티를 뽑아내야 하기 때문에 아티스트의 센스가 최대로 뽑아져나와서 더 센세이셔널하고 감각적이게 된 것 같다

어떤 지원 없는 아이돌이 뮤직비디오를 7개나 찍니.. 하입보이나 어텐션보다는 대중성이 없는 힙합베이스 곡이라 덜뜬거지 불쌍한거는 알겠는데 없는것까지 만들어서 프레임씌워서 쓸데없이 이미지 소비하게 만들지마라

이거 진짜 자신감 아닌가.,,, 트리플 타이틀이라해도 공식 데뷔날에 거의 무채색에 춤과 노래만 찍은 뮤비공개라,,, 근데 또 이렇게 하니까 오히려 신비하고 몽환적이네 이건 자신감이다 진짜

발매당시에는 쿠키=성적은유 라는 기사보고 그런줄알았는데 지금 뮤비보면서 들으니 쿠키=민희진표 뉴진스 음악 이었네요!! 다른곳에는 없는 민희진이 만든 뉴진스에서만 찾을수있는 음악 이었구나 ㄷㄷ 알고 들으니 100% 해석되요

난 진짜 이 뮤비 보고 입덕했는데.. 아이돌 노래들 진짜 다 때려부시고 뮤비에 다때려넣어서 시각적으로 지칠 때 색감 다빼고 옷도 겁나 트렌디 하면서 깔끔 단정 그자체라서 뭐 이런 센세이션이 다있나 함;; 방변태 아재는 이런 감성 눈꼽만치도 흉내 못내세요;;;

논란됐을 당시에도 씨디표현한거다라는 대응으로 계속 못박았음.. 그니까 우리집에만 있는 음반 이라는의미를 계속 주고 싶었던걸 티냈네 근데 그당시에 뉴진스는 이미 너무 슈스된데다 오늘 이전까지 이 뮤비도 미친존예.. 이렇게밖에 기억이 없었는데 지금보니까 지원 심하게 없었네.. 애들 비주얼,끼, 의상, 뮤비 컨셉 센스로 다해먹은거네 파도파도 경이롭기만하네...... 다시봐도 멋있고 민희진은 왜이렇게 여러가지로 힙한거냐..

걍 노이즈 마케팅 같음. 하이브가 뒤통수치니까 묻히겠다 싶어서 뮤비도 급하게 찍었고, 하이브는 뉴진스가 망하는걸 원하니까, 이런 이슈를 놓치지 않고 더 언플했을듯. 그걸 오히려 민희진이 역이용한거지. 해명할 구석은 만들어두고 ㅇㅇ 그리고 말그대로 민희진은 디테일도 놓치지 않고, 멤버들과 부모랑도 자주 소통하며 아끼는데 ㄹㅇ 괜히 이런 노래랑 뮤비까지 넣은게 아님. 적어도 멤버랑 가족들한테 이슈논란 각오하라고 언질했을 듯

Apparently the song is about their album which is the "cookie" they're referring to. Similar to the theme of Everglow's Bon Bon Chocolat being about how sweet it is to debut.

처음엔 가사가 묘~하게 들렸는데, 시간 지나서 사태가 터지니까 가사가 역으로 이해가 되기 시작하는게 웃기네. 뉴진스 느낌은 우리만 할 수 있어, 다른 상술 같은거 안 부리고 우린 음악으로만 승부해. 결국 우리만 찾게 될 걸 알잖아. 이렇게 들려 개신기해 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

뉴진스는 다 자신감있어보이고 춤을 시원스럽게 확실히 추는것같아서 만족감이 쩐댜...심지어 신인인데도 카메라 보는 표정이나 시선에서 어색함이 1도 안느껴지고 당찬 느낌이 들어서 데뷔무대가 무척 기대됨..

그런데 안무나 표정이나 분위기 자체가 조금 묘하잖아요. 사람들이 성적으로 보인다고 말하기도 했고 그런데 또 분위기까지 그렇게 한거보면 욕 먹을텐데 왜 그랬을까 의아했었는데 지금보니 그것도 일부러 원래 의도(방시혁 멕이기)랑 다른쪽으로 보이도록 속인거였을수도 있겠네요... 진짜 개소름...

밸런스가 너무 좋다, 오피셜뮤비에 옷 두벌로만 입고 추는 것도 멋있어요. 씸플함.. 화려한 명품로고에 옷 바꿔가면서 뮤비찍는 것도 아닌데 이 뮤비가 더 세련되고 패셔너블하다.. 먼가 이때까지 아이돌그룹들이 항상 하던거랑 다르다! 춤동작이 멤버마다 다른것도 너무 신나고 좋아요~ 뉴진스 화이팅~ 뉴진스 이름도 깔끔하고 멋쪄. 하트하트

Idk how the lyrics were translated in other countries, but baking cookies in Korea means "baking CDs=put musics on the CD." So the lyrics mean that members prepared a song for the fans.

As someone who's lived in the states for a long time as a Korean, I totally understand how the lyrics translated can sound like innuendos. For example, dani singing "licking on my cookie, doesn't it smell different.." and the members singing "there's no meal or drink, you'll only want the dessert" sound very wrong. HOWEVER in Korean, 'cookie' doesn't refer to a woman's genital area and we don't use the expression "skipping a meal" when referring to sex. We don't use the word 'dessert' to refer to sex as well. I'm not trying to defend Min Hyejin in any way because the company should have thought this through if they were trying to get a global audience. but I hope international fans can understand we don't think of these lyrics as innuendos in the Korean language.

HYBE explained in a statement that "The song revolves around the paired idea of burning CDs and baking cookies, which share the same conceptual verb in Korean" and so the song is not what you think it's about. You guys need to get your mind out of the gutter lol. This is actually my favorite NewJeans song and it's the one that made me stan them so please stop hating on it.

There’s no limit on stanning pity and it’s quite hypocritical atp. Everyone in kpop have the privilege of having a company who can help them promote unlike the natural talented musicians on streets that were too old for most people’s tastes, no abs, no sexy choreos, married or not your type of visual etc. Many like New Jeans music before everything bs everyone in kpop does lately. 쿠키 = 달콤한 가스라이팅 달콤하고 여러 스프링클도 들어가서 계속 먹고 싶어지만 계속 먹으면 충치생김 = 온갖 감언이설로 포장했지만 그걸 믿고 계속 습득하면 결국 내가 갉아먹힘 "너 충치 생겨도 난 몰라" = 가스라이팅을 한 당사자는 그 결과를 책임지지 않음 배고프다는데 식사도 안 주고 목마르다는데 물도 안 주고 계속 달콤한 것만 먹인다는 게 결코 건강한 관계는 아님. 좁게 보면 단월드/사이비 포교방식을 뜻하는 거고 더 보편적으로 보면 그냥 인간관계에서 누군가를 착취할 준비를 하기 위해 혹은 착취관계를 유지하기 위해 계속 "애정공세" 내지 "달콤한 거짓말"을 이어간다는 것. 처음 가사가 "내가 만든 쿠키" 인것도 이게 내가 만든 거짓말이지 진실은 아니라는 뜻. 곡이 단조로 작곡된 것도 이 "달콤한 쿠키"라는 게 사실은 독이 든 거라는 뜻 "너에게는 독이지" 나르시시스트의 애정공제 방법 중에 성관계를 이용해 끌어들이는 방법이 있어서 그동안 이 가사가 이상하게 해석되었던 것 (+누군가의 바이럴?). 하지만 그런 성관계 ⊂ 애정공세 ⊂ 달콤한 가스라이팅이기 때문에 좀 더 넓게 해석할 필요가 있음.

@@Mohadani722가사는 방시혁이 아니라 민희진이 최종결정 했을 확률이 매우 높음. '그 사건'과 이 가사는 별개의 주제이니 이 건 까지 쉴드치지는 마시길... p.s : 나도 개인적으로 이 노래를 가장 좋아함. 안무며 멜로디며 정말 좋음.

Idk how the lyrics were translated in other countries, but baking cookies in Korea means "baking CDs=put musics on the CD." So the members prepared a song for the fans.

@@GunYoungDong are you Korean? Genuine question. cus I wanna know what the song means in Korean context. The lyrics are really controversial among the international audience although I didn't see it at first. But it might be because everyone is just viewing it on their own cultural lens ( e.g certain words and phrases have different double meanings based on different languages and culture) and people who aren't multilingual might fail to understand this

The lyrics are bad, but the way they sing, it sounds nice. I think the "cookieeeeeeeee" line is catchy, but not for its meaning, for how it's said.
