HOSHI, member of the self-producing idol group, SEVENTEEN, reveals his first solo mixtape. The leader of SEVENTEEN’s performance unit, HOSHI is not only a well-rounded performer with distinguished vocal and rap ability, but is also credited with choreographing various SEVENTEEN tracks throughout his career. Through HOSHI Mixtape Spider, HOSHI establishes himself as a choreographer, lyricist, and songwriter, showcasing his creative independence and growth as the artist “HOSHI”.
In “Spider,” HOSHI likens the feelings of falling for the deadly and inescapable charms of an individual to the desperate movements of a prey caught in a spider’s web. The accompanying music video and choreography visualize the state of being “trapped” and unable to escape from this maze-like dynamic. HOSHI’s sentimental vocals are backed by dreamlike pluck sounds and a restrained bassline, further heightening the tension in this thrilling game of spider and prey.

This is the man that choreograph most of Seventeen's songs. This is the man that was put in the vocal unit before debuting and then put into the dance unit and became the best dancer in the group. This is the man who dislocated his fucking shoulder on stage for dancing too hard and stayed on stage until the performance ended. For those non-carats who wanna know more about this guy, Kwon Soonyoung also known as Hoshi (호시) is a South Korean singer and dancer under Pledis Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group SEVENTEEN. His position in the group is main dancer, lead vocalist, rapper, leader of performance team and choreographer. Seventeen being a self producing group, he choreographs most of svt's god tier dance routines (sometimes with the help of other members) He also participated on other parts of SVT's discography. In his solo, 'Spider' he also participated onto the producing this. He's an introvert yet anyone could say that his whole persona changes when performing on stage. Please give love to Hoshi! He even appeared on masked singer program and dance while singing LMAO. I never seen any boy idol doing it like him. @@chan6625 This is his mixtape. He’s not exactly promoting as it’s not an official solo debut. By company if you mean Bighit/Hybe, he’s not signed with Bighit Ent the label but they (Hybe) acquired Pledis, which is Seventeen’s label so now Hoshi’s mv is uploaded on this channel as with other artists from various labels under Hybe.
