@MarcSpctr abhi jis hisab se har 3 mahine me new phone launch hota hai with new technologies, usi tarah se ab gaadiyaan bhi launch ho rhi hai, saal me 3 baar to hum dekhte hi konsi car brand ne apne kis model ka facelift launch kar diya hai, to log aaj kal 5 saal ka bhi wait nhi karte, wo 2-3 saal me hi gaadi badal lete hai apni purani wali ko exchange karke.

One logic is also such that going for an 'X' brand petrol top variant, go for a 'Y' brand hybrid mid variant with same costing. This way hybrid will make sense

Ok. Thank you. Now I will buy a petrol car and everytime when I refuel, i will have to think 10 times for it, because I fell for some calculations. I know that to be actually profitable on paper 4-5 years are required. But there is a thing called peace of mind which I will get when I refuel.

Keep aside the 3-4 laks difference in your bank account for petrol...you'll have peace of mind that you're filling petrol from what you saved by not buying hybrid

If you buy it more expensive, you sell it more expensive. So the calculations are void. They assume that both the cars have the same resale price

My father drives to office and back 50 km one side evryday... 365-102=263days and 50×2=100 and 100×263=26300km along with some more outings and trips... so it is a lot profitable
