Why battery needed ? Why not capacitor ? Capacitor can absorb energy more quickly then a battery ! Please someone explain this to me. Thank you very much

It has very very low capacity as in kWh another issue is voltage drop so as u use it it keeps dropping in voltage as in it's linear . It has very high self discharge

to get to the transition and actually reduce pollution and meet climate target, in series hybrid is the best way possible to achieve it. parallel is not letting the engine run at its optimum. and adding capacitors or transferring the energy into cooling system when slowing down will be way more efficient.

@@AnupamVipul I was thinking of taking it one step further, by adding Pressure swing adsorption after intercooler, which increases combustion temperature. or maybe someone does calculation on recovering energy into battery vs using that energy to extract pure oxygen. that can further reduce pollution and increase efficiency.
