Thanks for that feedback! Glad my tips helped you. I really hope EA does not cancel these! Myself and other people have talked to them at length about this. When they cancelled them for several updates (about 18 months back) quite a few people quit the game because that was the only thing that kept him going. These events are always divisive. You get the newer or casual players that complain because these are hard for them. On the flipside, you get complaints during all required PR events because more experienced players like you and me find them way too easy. I think the game changer program has really helped to bridge the gap‘s. We caution newer players that these events are going to be hard for them and also try to help them through it. So hopefully it keeps going!😎👍

Hi there, thanks for the report! Brake assists will slow you down, but I used to use it as well. I earned a lot of cars with assists on but you’re right, it does cost more currency. As long as you’re enjoying yourself. Don’t want to push so hard that it isn’t fun.

@@ME7_RR3 @ME7 Totally agree🙂👌👌. It's not worth it if you're not having fun. But I really feel that a major issue for me, is not just the brake assist, but also the auto accelerate. Because I drive with the on screen buttons. I feel that the auto accelerate just messes up the trajectory for me on many occasions. But I don't know how to drive with the wheel or tilt! I tried once before to change to tilt and it wasn't fun anymore so I quite.And with the wheel for me it impossible! But I think it's time for a change,its the only way I can up my driving. First flight?

This won was easier. They vary quite a lot from about to event. In the old days there were several you could do with no upgrades at all. Then there were some events that could barely be completed with fully upgraded cars by most. More recently Speed Junkie did the 720 Degrees event with no upgrades. Although it varies wildly my skill level too.

Tire wear is coded into overall damage. There are generally 2 levels of damage. With each level of damage your car suffers across-the-board. So then top speed, acceleration, brakes and grip all go down. However some cars manifest changes more so in one category than others. For instance, I noticed very little drop in top speed with Formula 1 cars, but I do notice the loss of grip. How you get the damage is interesting. Generally speaking front end contact with another car is the quickest way to get car altering damage. However you can often crash right into a wall at high speed with little to no consequence. Side damage and rear end damage are also less impacting. That’s why you will sometimes see me throw my car sideways at the last second so that I don’t crash into another car with my front end. Driving off track and or skidding your tires actually will never give you spec altering damage. I’ve had races where I went over 200 km without any loss of vehicle performance. That included a lot of off track driving and sliding around at times. Now this is completely different than the clean race bonus damage we see at the end of the race. Anytime you get even one tire off track the game will consider that you had some damage. However that damage will not alter your car during the race, it will only reduce your clean race bonus. The easiest way to see damage in the majority of cars is by how many cracks there are in your windshield. Stage one damage will occur when you have just a few cracks. But then you can get heavier damage and you’ll see a lot of cracks. Stage 2 damage is the lowest stage. At that point you can do anything you want to do and your car will not suffer any more degradation. It’s at that point in races that I will often hit whoever I want to hit 😁

Good point. It certainly does happen in real racing. I feel sorry for any guy that was forced to do that. Mind you, if it’s for job security, than you do what you have to do.

At times in my life I’ve actually sat there reading dictionary‘s just to find interesting words. Funny how different words can be more cultural or regionally specific. I had to look up the word you’re asking about, I didn’t even know how to spell it! “Skosh” is just what you guessed it was, a small amount or a tiny bit. I was quite surprised to find out it’s actually of Japanese origin. Comes from “sukoshi”. US servicemen stationed in Japan after World War II changed the word to skosh when they adopted it into their speaking. During the Korean War a small serviceman would be referred to as a skosh… so in that context it would actually be derogatory. I have never encountered the word being used in a derogatory manner though. I always use it in the context of I’m a little bit tired or I need a little bit more speed, etc.

That’s not possible for this particular event. You must be on a different event or your version of the game is broken and you should reinstall it. This Lamborghini Sian event is a recommended PR only event. The current Formula 1 Event @ Silverstone is Required PR. So if you’re mixing this up with a Silverstone Formula 1 event that’s why.

Cutting the first corner is off track. If you do that in a time trial you will instantly fail. However in this event they actually give you at least one second off track so I was careful with where I used it. That drag-strip section really isn’t beneficial in time trials. Most of the top time trial racers will not use it. It is beneficial when you need to really build up speed. I don’t know why it isn’t off track. There’s actually a lot of sections like that on many different tracks. The entrance and exit to pitstops on almost every track are actually considered on track in the game. The majority of them are useless in a race though. Other interesting on track sections are when you have multiple versions of a circuit. Circuit de Catalunya is a great example. In the Grand Prix version there’s a very tight hairpin corner at a certain point. In other versions that is a wider, parabolic type of corner. However you can actually take the tight hairpin if you want to, it’s just extremely hard to avoid the barrier at speed! Some of this is just the limitations of game resources or even the game engine I believe.

You need the draft. So you can’t use the outside line because the bots don’t drive there.

I tried that a whole bunch of times and I couldn’t make it work. I would hit speed but only as I was nearing the very end of the straight. You are certainly welcome to try it and see if you can make it work. However I agree with Khan that you need the draft. However you should check out Speed Junkies a Video who did it with no gold upgrades at all. It’s normally about braking earlier and having the correct trajectory through the corner. If you’re trajectory is perfect and you’re still sliding, then either you got to the brakes too late heading to the corner; or you got to the gas too early leaving the corner.

@@catsexe6932 you probably have some assists on then. Those can really slow you down. Press the gear icon, then the car icon that has lines under it like the loss of traction. The short and general answer is yes for recommended PR events! Every single event like this I find people who fully upgraded their car and STILL could not finish the event. Now a lot of that is due to them driving with heavy assists on. Now when it comes to required PR events, that’s different for me. I buy the upgrades I need to finish the event right on day one and then drive it as hard as I can. I’ve never had an event too difficult for me doing that. However I have encountered people that did! So I guess the most important part is to know your driving ability and make your own determinations.

Skipping is the exact same gold cost as boosting your drivetrain upgrades to 3. I would say try that first. What I mean is, do a cloud save, buy the upgrades and see if you could pass the race. With 1331311 it shouldn’t be too bad hard I think. It might take quite a few tries to find your way through it. If it is too hard you could restore back, get back your gold and then skip the race.

Why??? There’s no benefit to that, no extra reward, nothing at all. They are ALLOWING us to go off-track for a bit, therefore it is not an infraction. We’ve actually had stages where they FORCE us to drive off-track to pass a stage in the past. People obsess too much over never going off-track. This is not a regulation race in a regulation series; it’s a fictional storyline in a game. To see my fast, all on-track racing you need to go to my time trial videos.
