I grew up admiring this guy and made me so proud when they performed on Madison square garden. Hyde's band L'arc~en~ciel was the very first Japanese band who performed there. Glorious moments.

サラッと、いつもカッコ良くHYDEさん歌ってますが、まず、歌詞が長くてビックリしました。（笑）かなり聴き込まないと難しく、世の男性も言ってましたがやっぱりHYDEさんしかパーフェクトには歌えないですね。歌が上手い人は沢山いるけれど、HYDEさんにはそれプラスアルファで虜にしてしまう何かが沢山あると思います。Englishバージョンは、輪をかけてカッコ良い。

Every time I like this song a little bit more, and no matter if it’s Japanese or English version. It’s rushing somewhere, it makes everything out there spin faster and faster like a roller coaster ride. But that’s life, that’s XXI century when everyone is Somebody with his own opinion which is absolutely right. So now we have billions of contradicting truths. It drives crazy.

To me the lyrics are important. I find meaning in the lyrics from both of the songs. MAD QUALIA immediately catches my attention when HYDE sings "Answer how it feels within" because to me the meaning of the lyrics are different, I have a unique disposition of being emotionally dead or unfeeling so "Answer how it feels within" is how I often think about others - what do they feel and what does it feel like. To me without knowing emotions, I have "no way to know what matters." And because I cannot ever be normal it creates "painful distance." between me and all others. To me "You say I'm mad all around" refer to the people who live in a different way from myself, people who may be normal but are unkind to others. Those who think their way is right, who enforce their ideals by using some form of "logic", science, or religion to break others down. I have the ability to see things like ghosts and such since young although its does not happen as often as one would think so "I say I'm not, you're the one" to me refers to our different views of reality. In the end both parties can mess up the world no matter our views or what we do, in that way both parties create destruction, both messes up the world. So in the end we're "falling together." Even if "We see the same things" those things can be different. The meaning can change based on the person. In the end we cannot tell others they are wrong and we cannot tell if we are right. Thinking about it wouldn't change a thing. It would just make you doubt yourself. "The more I shout it comes apart" to me means that even if you tell people over and over or try to explain, the more they tend to treat you as mad. And maybe repeating things does not help, it just starts to become like you're trying to convince yourself. If its like that then the more you try to convince yourself, the more you fall. You cannot ever reach out and be yourself in front of others and it feels like being trapped behind a mirror watching life go past. To everyone from the outside they can never tell what you are feeling (unless they have unique abilities which is almost never the case), so even if you're screaming on the inside they'll never notice "The more I shout it comes apart". But maybe it is not so bad, if that feeling is all you know then falling might not be so bad. Maybe going Mad would not be so bad. "We see the same light" even if people see you as different or as evil you might believe in the same things. Most of everything admires the light. The lyrics of MAD QUALIA that I like the most is "I wanna sense what you feel." This is mostly because I can sense what people feel sometimes (its not like mind reading where you know word for word what is going on in a person's mind), I feed from people's life force energy "I wanna taste how it feels." and sometimes emotions and thoughts can be read and felt from others "I want to take what you feel." The mind can often feel like a "maze", and we often constrain who we really are because of other people and society. It can make the person who you really are feel irritated and agitated "constraint need to get out". One of the band members' mask reads "DAMNED" sometimes I think of myself as such, I'm sure there are others who feel damned too. People who are different. Or people who have been hurt beyond repair. Amongst the "damned" maybe it would not be so bad to fall.

Wow that's such a great hyde phase, the song really, sounds great, makes me want to listen to many more songs!
