We take a truck hike from Meziadin Lake Provincial Park to Stewart B.C. and the ghost town Hyder, Alaska where we climb above Salmon glacier, visit the bears at the Fish Creek Wildlife Viewing platform and say a final farewell to Alaska one more time. (Season 2 - Episode 80)
We are trying to upload to our channel 3 times a week and have come up with the following video schedule:
~Maintenance Monday's where we showcase products, gizmos and gadgets we use that help maintain our RV.
~Wanderlust Wednesday's where we focus on our travels and adventure.
~Friday Night Chats where we come to you live if signal permits and discuss what we have been up to for the past week.

We were in Stewart and Hyder in August 2017. The Bus is a fantastic place to eat in Hyder. It’s actually a bus. Great halibut. The Toaster Works in Stewart was wonderful place to eat.

We actually saw more black bear on the Cassiar than on the Alcan! We also spent a night at Meziadin Lake. BC, some of the best scenery in Canada! Can't wait to head back to Alaska!

On our way into Hyder, we stopped and listened to glaciers cracking above us. Every so often, they move the highway due to melting glaciers; there was a sign or maybe I read that in the Mile Post (I'd order it on-line before leaving to go there). We saw a grizzly fishing - totally amazing and a smaller bear that the grizzly chased away. They fish when the salmon are running and grizzlies are very territorial. We stayed the night in that campground - no soft sides - canvas allowed and no dogs are to be off-leash. I think the same stream ran directly behind the campground. We didn't venture up to that huge glacier; must go back and do that.

Grizzly bears can climb trees but stead decide to knock them down... Seen momma and baby Griz go up a tree very easily.... I do live in Grizzly country... Maybe a Stewart trip should be done in 2022...

I really enjoyed your video and I did Subscribe. When you drove to the glacier and walked around overseeing the glacier, would that be a safe are to short hike with a dog? I did see in your video a clip of a Malamute. Thanks a look forward to your other videos.
