Best bang for buck of modern digital synths in my opinion. Just scratching the surface too.

Such a good rundown, such a good synth. And you still have macros, poly aftertouch, the arp, and so much more. I'd love to see a second round after EZBot spends some time with it. Thanks Matts, and thanks Patchwerks!

FYI, I thought anyone here might want to know this. I just purchased my Hydrasynth Desktop from Sweetwater, have had it only had it 3 days now. I discovered that it now ships with Presets Patches in all 5 Banks (A B C D E). There are not any Empty Banks, all the Banks now have Preset Patches. Also some seemed to be different than ones I heard and saw on several older tutorials on KZfaq. I was curious about this and contacted Ashun Sound Machines Support and they confirmed this. So now you will have to use the Patch Manager Application if you want to keep any or all of the Factory Preset Patches before you INIT any to make new sounds/patches. Anyway this Synth is incredible, with 2 more Banks of presets I am just starting to experiment with them all before I start to create my own Presets. Here is their email response: Hello, Yes we have now included 2 more banks and updated the patches as well. Please use the patch manager if you would like to arrange banks differently . You can also refer to our KZfaq channel for more videos on this. Kind regards, Support

Excellent demo of an excellent synth! The Hydrasynth is incredible, especially at its price point. Also, am I the only one who was blown away by how much Matt sounds like Bob Odenkirk? I felt like I was watching Saul Goodman make a patch from scratch

Owned mine since it practically came out, and I always love to see videos on it. Such a capable sonic beast that takes you on countless journeys. Would love to see a part 2, or even more. Also for the Mod Matrix shortcut, you can also hold down a modulator and press the button for the parameter itself instead of just the module and then selecting the parameter. The parameters that can be modulated will light up, similar to when you copy-paste a module.

I didn't need the sales pitch associated with a demo of this kind, as I already bought the tool and it's about to arrive and this is not the ice breaker I was hoping for, however I totally get the nerdy enthusiasm and the diversions in getting from sound source to save patch.
