Stupid question from me but how comes if it's applying 500 tons of down force, the machine itself and the ground below it do not become damaged? 500 tons is a lot of weight, even for the concrete floor the press is resting on.

My friend had A 20-ton hydraulic press in his machine shop where we would gather in the evenings and drink many beers and conduct the same type of experiments. A whole evenings drinking session( 50 beers ) could be reduced to an aluminum pancake about an inch tall. We were before our time.

yep! this is the most powerful hydraulic i have seen so far even the batteries turns into liquid where in other videos the their hydraulic cant even crash the batteries completely lol..
