What stops water from coming into the building in a storm if no mortar is used?

Good question! Could it be assumed that water ingress is minimised by the interlocking ridge that passes along the length and end of the brick?

Depending on constructions and roof over lay, joins can be pointed to prevent any penetrations

These machines are not available in kenya, unfortunately.

Check with Makiga Engineering at their website. They are probably in Uganda but their machines have been used in Kenya and other East African countries.
