People that do wrong make life difficult for everyone. That’s true for both police and citizens. Good officers that stand by and allow bad officers to do wrong are just as guilty and put a bad stain on the profession. It happens way too much.

I feel down as well as you. We live in one of the cities where there is protesting,killings and looting. It is very nerve wracking. I spend a lot of time in the garden where I find peace. People walking their dogs stop and tell me I have one of the most beautiful yards in the neighborhood. I tell them that is one thing I can do. Great video! My prayers are with everyone that is in law enforcement, EMS, local state and federal agencies that are trying to keep peace. The ones rioting and tearing things up are not bringing justice to the man who died. Tearing up someone else's property is only causing a burden to the innocent people.

It was a very stressful night, but we know that he was safe in God's will for him. He is a peacemaker. He has a way of calming people and situations down. I’m from that damn Yankee state and metro area that is ground zero of the riots. You talked about how gardening is good for us. Well, I was so busy planting last week that I forgot to check the news. (We get a short period to plant so it can get intense.) I didn’t know until Thursday 5/28 about the riots until friends texted me to see if I was okay. It started to move into my neighborhood. That explained the sirens and helicopters. I had a goal of May 31 to get all planted; nothing was going to stop me from that. So, when I wasn’t working in the garden, I was praying. Sunday was the scariest moment for me. I was doing the final planting when the march was two blocks from me on their way to the Capitol. Helicopters were flying low and loud. There were chanting, drums, car horns, and other sounds in a cacophony that crescendoed. My helper and I looked at each other with worried looks. I stopped my gardening to pray for Christ’s peace for the marchers, the military, law enforcement, the neighborhood, our leaders, and the innocent. I was very worried for the businesses in my neighborhood. The noises eventually decrescendoed, and we finished the planting that early evening before curfew. Gardening IS a gift from God. It can calm us in the storm. It can give us purpose. It did for me. My dad, who was a master gardener, always liked to say, “I just like to see things grow.” May the seed of Christ’s peace grow in each of us to the height and width of the mustard tree. (We had so much to plant this year because I created additional wicking containers to last year’s number - 27 in total now. Thanks to you and Leon.) ✌🏽✌🏼✌🏻🕊🛐✝️

It's a strange time we live in we are fighting a unseen enemy in the virus and the stress it has caused people are very nervous it's sad that one person's actions can have such a effect on so many the looting and so called protests are a mob mentality. All this unrest is not because some one died it's about people releasing a lot of anger against everything I feel for that man's family and also I read for all the people who are doing all this unrest but mostly I fear for the police who on the whole are good law abiding citizens. Now I have something else to thank you for especially you, Leon and Dutch, Arms Family Homestead was the first homestead KZfaq channel that I subscribed too last year , and then Dutch and the Leon, told my husband Randy I wanted to start raised garden beds , use mineral tubs like you do, which I acquired 17 of them from a friend of mine who raises and milks his cows and farms. Ive made up like 7 or 8 self wicking tubs,I have 6 mineral tubs of just sweet potatoes with drain holes, 55 gal potato barrel, I have mixed up my own garden soil, added what you had recommended,I am so tickled how everything has been growing since April 28 ,just listening to you guys! Thank you so much for inspiring me to do this, I have enjoyed every part and time of this adventure in gardening! I have more knowledge and guidance doing this that I didn't have when I had a garden in the ground! I did hash tag you on my AnnieOakly FB post so you would hopefully see what I had done so far! On the five gallon bucket, I keep on watering everyday without failed. If missed one day,then it will dying for water. So I come up with another bucket with a floater. From rain barrel to five gallon with floater to all five gallons bucket with the plants and it's works. One problem keep filling 55 gallons rain barrel enough water for every day. You can put plants food (water base) in the rain barrel.

You are a blessing, Daniel. I do pray for our law enforcement and our leaders to make the right decisions. Your explanation is spot on. The bad decisions and actions of a few can and did affect our country. We do need to plant more in our gardens, and do things that give us joy. I live in a semi rural area of Northwestern NJ and we had a stolen car chase last night at 2:00 am. Fugitives went up my winding hilly road, kaboomed into a tree, and apparently went up my driveway and into my woods. The K9 Officer and dog continually went around my house, and into the perimeter of the woods. The dog jumped over my Brook, he had lost the scent. The one man he was tracking climbed up the Brook and further into the woods. We had two helicopters scanning overhead. Daniel, the Police went door to door advising people to lock their house, car and stay inside. We all live far apart. The Police were all over, from various towns, and did a phenomenal job of making us feel safe as they worked in unison to find the two fugitives from Newark, land of stolen car thieves. Unfortunately the two men got away, and it is still under investigation. THIS is the kind of Policing you don't hear about. I appreciate all Police for putting their lives on the line everywhere. I baked fresh strawberry bread and went to a friend up the roads fairy farm.this afternoon, as you go in your garden. I got licked by two week old calf's, and made my friends happy with my baked goods. I watched the parade of Holsteins walk up the road from their pasture to the milking barn. Those ladies made Big Mac at 1285 look small. Seeing them.all and giving my friends bread gives me joy. I am praying for you, and all your fellow officers.
