This channel doesn't just report on the reserve happenings. This channel sells canned hunting vacations to wealthy westerners. They supply paying "customers" with high quality accomodation, 24 hour service, private bars and hot tubs - and then take the "tourists" to canned hunts where they shoot lions, leopards, elephants etc. They say they do this in order to "raise money for conservation". Thats a FACT. So don't believe everything you see on here. Because it's not the truth. It's a mirage. Hence the name change from "Sightings at Kruger" to "Latest Sightings". Because they break the law, every single day, and have done for years.

And sadly, despite the channel making a fortune across MANY social media platforms for years, they STILL resort to enabling millionaires to illegaly slaughter animals all year round, and do their best to hide that fact from the viewers here. "It's just nature! Let nature take it's course! The Lion is hunting the baby buffalo! We can't intervene! It's nature!". So, Latest Sightings, what has nature got to do with escorting hunters to prey on animals for trophies and fun (oh and MONEY!)? Fucking disgraceful.

There used to be a reddit channel that was all vids of people dying in full detail with same effect. The ninnies took it down just because it had that Christchurch massacre vid the killer made with go pro strapped to his head. That was one crazy vid. Hope it's still preserved for when the world gets less prudish.

Most likely explanation for the rolling is because the hyenas are disgusting their own scent, either for other hyenas other predators or prey.

Actually, the real reason is to try out and feel the soft furry coat of the leopard before they skin it and use it as a blanket for cold nights. Either that or just symbolic that they conquered a rival.

A male lion biting a hyena's neck or throat is not fatal. The only way for a male lion to kill a hyena is to bite its spine and destroy it. The odds of success are very low and it is an extremely difficult task.

From video observations, Hyenas tend to do this with dead Male lions or even lions that are alive. For example, if a clan is attacked by the Male Lion, when he leaves, they will rub themselves in his scent or the areas he was to gather information through scent on the Lion. They do it to remember the scent of the rival and to display dominance. Most likely, the Hyenas are trying to uncover who killed the cub (other Leopard) in acquiring the scents left behind. It will tell them if the Male Leopard is healthy and a possible threat.
