Glynne Slack did. the one before this not slew 360 degrees or have 4 in 1 levers. The arm was operated by foot pedals

I used to love these. That engine sound brings back memories. Or is it nightmares. I hated driving them in the Winter because the heaters were totally crap.

A lot faster on dipper arm if you use the pedals as well as the lever.

This was my first machine when I was 18,I sprayed it and made it look like new .I had it for about 2 years then finished with the company who I worked for.5 years later I was re-united with her but one day the boss decided to get rid of her.I was given a Cat 215 instead.Can't help noticing on this video that the dipper is controled by the right lever and not foot pedals.Anyone know why ??

We used to connect the right lever service valve to the dipper as it gave it more power, foot pedals were still used. Hy Mac claims that it gave about 15% more power to the dipper.

@@johnmelhuish3806 Looks to me like it's all controlled on levers, his feet aren't moving so no foot pedals in this one.
