This has to be one of the best music videos I've seen to use foreigners without making them props or 'swag' credit. Actually Hyolon's solo career has been a really good example of that.

q q I agree that diversity is a good thing, but not at the sacrifice of the livelihood of native, Korean dancers. Originally, there was no need for companies to pay extra just to fly in dance companies from the states who have different dance styles from Korean dancers who emphasize precision over flow. However, with foreign fans shoving diversity down their throat in the comments in a few scandals , this is the result. It's not a bad thing, but it more a representation of American demographics than that of Korea, which is made up of 99% Koreans. In real life, these kind of scenes with a huge group of mixed races will most likely not exist or be very hard to find in Korea.

@@merrybot101 those korean dancers still have jobs lmao, they aren't losing out on their livelihoods by any means. especially not in south korea where companies would rather pay less for native talent than spend exuberant amounts of money for 'diversity'. especially with the fact that companies using foreign dancers is still rare across the board. there's a reason why the only companies using foreign dancers are YG, and maybe SM here and there, and of course Hyolyn's self owned label.

Eastern countries like japan and Korea are so closed to the exterior by living in their island countries the prevalent culture there is extremely xenophobic. Foreign looking people virtually can’t get any work on media there lest they are playing an foreigner ass foreigner. Hyo is doing great BRIDGING talent overseas for their fresh new take, work, and different formation in regards to how they approach dancing. Mixing will always result in greater, deeper and richer variety, and everybody wins.

This is so SISTAR-ish!!! I can imagine if SISTAR members sing this song. Hyolyn and Soyou as vers 1, Dasom and Soyou in Pre Chorus and then in Chorus Hyolyn - Soyou. I respect Hyolyn and artists like her so much cause in the K-Pop, as a woman, you can be looked down on for being "too sexy" but she doesn't let that stop her from making the kind of music and content that she wants to make. I love that she's keeping it consistent with her music rather than releasing something only once or twice a year. as she is still pretty much a solo artist "rookie" I think its good that she's very active rn and not giving people the chance to forget about her

TyoTyo i know right, there’s an agreement if one member leave, sistar will disband and hyolyn wanted a solo career. I’m not mad at her eventhough hyolyn is not my fave. Why do do you think starship chose hyolyn to be a leader when bora is the oldest? Cause hyolyn is born to be a leader & she’s very dominant. I think it’s hard for her to be in a group under agency when agency often decide almost everything about the artist. Now she decides everything on her own and she’s the CEO!! I still prefer sistar than them as a soloist but i respect hyolyn and mark my words all, she’s gonna be a great CEO because she’s born to be a leader.

Why is she still so underappreciated? This is her 4th release this year. She's working on it by herself. She hired Aliya Janell and Nicole Kirkland to choreograph Dally, SeeSea and Bae. She hired foreign director such as Robfish Inc. for her music video. Her music video for SeeSea and Bae were filmed outside Korea. I still don't get it why she's so underrated. edit: SHE EVEN LEARNED ENGLISH! LOOK AT HOW HARDWORKING SHE IS!

Chaerination _ I think it’s because she isn’t following the typical Korean style Route. She’s also not promoting it enough like on music shows (but maybe because they would ban some of her dances, Koreans were pressed about dally and see sea) I think if she went on some more variety shows and stuff it would help. These days people only care about new groups

i think some artists just have a hard time doing well on charts, which is understandable. but they are LOVED whenever they show up to festivals and live performances, and hyorin is one of them. people love her and she's got a solid fan base, but her songs just don't have the vibe for people to be listening day in day out, which is normal. we gotta think beyond the charts

This is AMAZING on so many levels, you have no idea. First off, she's giving us constant updates, videos, songs... She's keeping us always entertained and interested. The songs are g o o d, I feared that the increasing quantity would hinder the quality but NAH BITCHES, queen Hyo's here to snatch wigs EVERY MV, prepare the wax because we're going bald, lemme tell you. Secondly the diversity. Guys. G U Y S. Hyo did t h a t. Do you want to know how many kpop groups/songs feature POC dancing (not in the far background) with the main star? HUH? Not so many, if I do say so myself. We don't see something like this everyday. The song is good. Very good. And every song we got since The Queen went solo had a choreo. I repeat, this is not a given. And every time it's cheerful and sexy but without being cheap. Look at the scenery, look at the dancers. Look at this mf MV and tell me you aren't happy RIGHT NOW. Hyolyn, the summer queen. Welp, I correct myself: THE Queen. Starting this label has been the BEST thing for Hyolyn, IMO. Now, something I'm really curious about is: is she ever going to take trainees under her label? Under HER leadership? Because, my friends, I would stan the HELL out of them.
