Because of hyperarmour you can get away with 42 base poise and play with fashion. I have full guide which explains it on PvP reddit. You need 42 for colossal swords, 41 base poise with bullgoat talisman on top for great non-pole weapons.

What's the 42 breakpoint for? I have using 41 poise with bull goats to basically have enough poise for greatsword mirrors. And yeah I like this system because I don't have to wear the same 4 armors everyone uses in the meta.

@@oBuLLzEyEo1013 it's just fun to swap and adapt to the situation, and it's not really sweaty since it's very easy to pull off. It's like an extremely simple fighting game combo. If you think 4 button presses is really that sweaty, you must only play Minecraft and stardew valley 😂
