Until I saw the TAS game i never seen the apples. Nice to see a human is capable of getting the apples :)

Sadly, I used save states to do this. I wanted to see them and I also wanted to make sure I was able to hit them if I ever encounter them. No angle select is needed. You can either tap or hold the button down. That's good to know, lol.

It would be interesting to know if the "Perfect" bonuses stay the same for subsequent rounds (this appears to be the 1st round) and the same per apple (1000 points here). I did it a couple of times on the arcade version, but never got 2 in a row. If anyone is interested, the Pole Vault bonus for planting the pole perfectly (when the mole appears!) is capped at 8k. 1, 2, 4, 8, 8, 8, ... - and it wouldn't give you the mole bonus points if you cleared a height that got you onto the World Record scoreboard. I seem to remember doing it 11 or 12 times in a row on one Arcade game in my (misspent) youth.

Yeah, there's big points in the pole vault. I've gotten 9 in a row, so 6 of them were 8k. Damn 5.92 on the scoreboard was the only reason I didn't get #10. 😕 I think there is a TAS video showing all perfects for every round and the score is no different if I remember correctly.

Yeah. I got 8k once and was hoping for 16k on the next jump but got a record. Kind of glad to know cap was 8k after all this time! ;)

Nice done it twice years ago just got a machine yesterday friend fixing it :) soon be rdy to get that score on rearranged challenge who gets apples first the name is SAL PS. Your top draw wish i met you 30years ago :)

I'll never get them legitimately. Read my description. I save stated. 😳 Once SAL gets them, he'll probably stay on top. I've tried for years and 4600 is my best.
