Hypercars racing on closed mountain road - SOC Andermatt 2018

Күн бұрынThe Supercar Owners Circle (SOC) Weekend 2018 in Andermatt, Switzerland was definitely one of the best Hypercar Events of this year! Incredible hypercars participated in the meeting. Such as Pagani Zonda Unica, Zonda LM, Ferrari LaFerrari, F12 TDF, 599 GTO F50, Porsche 911 GT1, Maserati MC12, Porsche 918 Spyder, Carrera GT, McLaren P1, Apollo IE and SLR Stirling Moss to mention just a few. The group of hypercars conquered the Gotthard and the Oberalppass, a mountain pass in the Alps which was partly closed with no speed limit for the hypercars.

The Maserari MC12 is class!! It successfully brought back the prestige of the Maserati brand in top level motorsports. The successful champion in GT1 racing at its best.

Was this road actually closed? I see cars and buses coming down the other direction.

It was closed when I filmed at the first location of the video, on the second location the cars drove the same road back but it wasn't closed then

When is the next event? Can you go there and look for free or do you have to do something for it

There is no confirmed date yet, but probably again at the beginning of September next year and yes, you can just go there and watch
