UPDATE Im at the park and the area has been cleared and the train has now gone round the rest of the layout!! Hyperia remains closed! I DID GET A RIDE THOUGH!

It probably was the wether and the wind must of bean to bade so the system wood not send it incase it staled

I'd like to agree with you, but just a few days ago, a B&M ride at Legoland encountered the same issue, and it's been problematic ever since it launched. I doubt we'll find a manufacturer whose new ride operates without any hitches.😅

Rides always have hiccups here & there, the main thing is safety for everyone & if that means closure for checks then its just tough luck unfortunately!

@ThemeParkEnthusiast I have checked their website and this seems to have just been a 1 day issue - they do not have it listed in temporary closures or any notices about it so I assume that this was just a one off event and it will run as normal tomorrow!

Why spread unnecessary news. This was a safety shutdown due to high winds at the top of the lift hill. I would rather it stop than valley and a crane have to attend again

Of course it's a story, I ride was down for weeks now when its opened its had 2 days in a row where it's got stuck on the lift hills,struggled to get round the layout and them been closed due to this

Correct. I’m surprised that they are having such a problem with it considering it’s only a lift roller coaster. I could see if it were a multi launch.

@Bnizzofashizzo The initial problem with the chain lift was odd sure, but every coaster has teething issues and this is no different (at least it was handled better than TT2); however there is reason to believe this was a safety stop due to high winds (the uk is notorious for this) and instead of them wanting it to valley and have to bring the crane out again to remove it they just evac'd everyone off the train. Also supposedly it was running empty trains for the rest of the day. To add to this some more apparently Thorpe have said it isn't a safety issue and there hasn't been an update about an extended closure so should all be good. TL;DW - this isn't a serious issue and is likely just because of weather.
