About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

@@anapeglar4602 I don’t think she fell off. I did wanted to do a little research since the mod came out and there was a creepypasta of the song. Apparently, Hypno and the girl (I’m sorry. I forgot her name.) were always close to one another before on a fateful day, she had jumped and fallen off the bridge. Now Hypno mourns her death.

Actually I feel the need to clarify something, the Gold from Monochrome and Frostbite are actually from different creepy pastas, both however deal with Gold suffering a terrible fate and losing some limbs. As stated with Red, Gold (Frostbite) is from the Snow on Mt Silver creepypasta where the Pokémon would freeze to death and at the end Gold and Red have a final Pokémon battle(?) where it shows all their Pokémon meet an unfortunate demise and Red’s Pikachu has a demonic terrifying face and smile (which is shown in the mod) and seems to be what kills Gold by the end after his and Red’s last Pokémon freezes to death and the text “Red used Destiny Bond” is said. The narrator says that they were traumatized as what happened was that the screen went white and screams from the game was all that was heard before seeing the Pikachu smile and screech and the game turns off. The Gold in Monochrome however is from the Lost Silver creepypasta showing a story of the narrator playing the game and piecing together a story of Gold continuing to battle gym leaders and making a reputation only for death to catch up with him and just being forgotten. (Each room you enter and check your stats, your badge count increases massively and the images of the gym leaders disappear over time). As stated in the video checking the Pokémon show Unown making words and also one of Gold’s Pokémon which after using flash in a room says that it “died” (not fainted), to which later the player found themselves becoming more limbless and grey as they enter new rooms and areas to where after a certain point they find themselves doing a battle against Red(?) and his only Pokémon is a Celebi with half of its body seen in the sprite against a Pikachu with a sad face to where by the end both Pokémon die (perish song + destiny bond) and right before the battle ends we see for a single frame Red was missing his head. The player then is seemingly stuck in a room only to find out that they’re a ghost and walk outside the boundary and find a colored sprite of the player saying “Goodbye” before being stuck in a grave seen in the intro cutscene of Monochrome unable to leave, to where after reading the Unown it says “I’m dead”. The narrator as stated previously pieced together a story of Gold trying so much in being a worlds best that death eventually came to him and he just became forgotten. The way HOW he died or what happened when he was alive has multiple interpretations by people such as in Juno’s lyrics video showing an interpretation of him being ripped in pieces by trainer’s Pokémon. In this mod of Monochrome, Gold is dead with his body being just a husk and being puppeteer’d by Unown (even stated in the V2 Pokédex where it says that his groans are pitiful sparks of hope that he is possibly still alive). So uhh yeah just a small clarification on Gold and also more in-depth detail on the different creepy pastas he’s from

@@Cubby466, long story short: gold from monochrome is different from frostbite, frostbite takes place in Snow on Mt. Silver creepy pasta, monochrome takes place in Lost Silver creepy pasta, even though both are different creepy pastas they do both have gold as the main focus and he does lose a couple limbs at least in both and also at the end of both he meets an unfortunate demise however they are still both very different stories

Don’t do it!” This is in contrast to the “there’s a time and place for everything, but not now.” Steven’s response is arguably one of the hardest lines I’ve read: “In a world that cheated me, why should I play fair!?”

Another fun fact about Mt. Silver: Ethan, the one you play as in the song, and his Pokémon, actually doesn’t become the way they are because of frostbite. While yes it did harm them, the reason why he’s missing a lot of his parts and why his Pokémon are dead is because he encountered a cursed Celebi who used Perish Song ON HIM. And while some Pokémon were dying due to the cold, Perish Song was basically the nail on the coffin for them and Ethan. And when the fight ends, you can see his body become much more different (what he looked like when fighting Red.) Also, for those confused about the ending of that, Typhlosion canonically dies here due to all of Red’s Pokémon using struggle on it, chipping its hp away. (What’s kind of sad here is before the fight with Ethan and Red begins, Ethan says “Don’t die Typhlosion..”) But before it actually does die it has a few last bits of hp left before Pikachu uses pain split on it, killing Typhlosion. And after that, Pikachu uses destiny bond on Ethan, and then the jumpscare happens.

extra stuff for hypno's lore. also to clear up stuff. Hypno had a trainer who was bullied to the point of jumping off a bridge, hypno was there when she jumped and he stayed on that bridge for a long time. (its whats happening in bygone purpose) they took his trainer away from him and now he's out for revenge. (this is all taken from the twitter post Banbuds posted)

A quick fact: With blood graphics turned on when starting the mod, a white hand from Brimstone quickly appears then disappears from behind GF in the beginning of Left Unchecked. This explains how Buried Alive transformed the hand into the GF hallucination.

A pretty popular theory for snow on mt silver is that red was dead the entire time, gold either saw the corpse of red or just never got to him, and eventually started to hallucinate, which is why red suddenly gets severely damaged during the battle/song

The only “terrible problem” was drama from 5 months ago that was solved within an hour. It is incredibly small compared to other kinds of people in this community that got off scot free. But for some reason banbuds got treated as if they were satan for the small shit they had done. I hate this community.

From what I read Bandubs did apologize to the person back then and they said it was okay. But they brought it back up and said they lied to bandubs and that they still were upset with him, lying to him due to fear of his large following

Truth be told, I was once planning to make my own mod. The issue? I can't code, animate, or make sprites. But I quickly found myself becoming less interested in fnf as a whole, now there are only a select few mods I like enough to keep up with. But I get the feeling that this is what's happening with a lot of people. And tiba honest, if my mod is to ever come to fruition... It would probably be the last thing I do in this community.

Further note about Hypno: the way his body transforms into a bloated pile of viscera due to overstraining his powers might also be a reference to a classic anime film called "Akira", where in the climax a main character undergoes a similar body horror transformation, also due to losing control over their own psychic powers.

My only advice for future mod creators is to not post anything that screams FNF mod. Only post about a mod when its done. I do think shadow dropping an FNF mod is much safer than posting constantly and eventually people just turn in to horrible jerks.

I think that's why I like how Juno showed off his two mods. He didn't show anything of the sort about his two mods until he dropped a trailer on his channel just a little before they were actually available. It might seem like it's being secretive but honestly it's a solid strategy. Since longer you give people to leak or just find stuff on you or the team, sadly the more likely it is to be cancelled.

I'm pretty sure the reason why Hypno goes around stealing kids is because kids who stay out late are considered bad children because they don't listen to their parents and his trainer was abused and tormented by bullies ultimately ending herself because of that he went out becoming stronger and stronger to the point where he became a monster and goes after people who look like the bullies or children who are disobedient at least that's what I can remember from the scraps of what other people have told me about his backstory

Something i noticed about Glitchy Red is that in the song "isotope"'s cutscene he quotes the same thing when he's trying to toy with the owner in the pasta, he says "They took everything from me. My VOICE. My FREEDOM. My LEGACY. They replaced me with the brown-eyed kid." but the only thing changed about this in the mod is that towards the end he ends with, "Then they replaced me with some blue haired kid."

And the reason for that is because, while GF is fighting HYPNO, you can see the white hand for a split second (It's kind of a blink and you'll miss situation)

My favorite is the Cyndaquil line with Typhlosion being my absolute favorite Pokemon of all time. As for your choice...well we all make stupid decisions. For real though, Meganium is awesome, but you gotta go through some trials (by comparison to Totodile and Cyndaquil) to get it to evolve easily. But yeah, this mod kinda hurt watching my favorite Pokemon slowly burn away its life. Just makes me wanna check my own party and mentally hug my Pokemon, honestly...

I just wanna say LOTS OF RESPECT for what you said in the end there, and I 100% agree, it is a shame about how many mods are getting canceled and how many creators we are losing in the community but it is sometimes for the best in order for the community to improve. And hopefully those creators do come back, but only after they have fixed what they have done wrong, apologized, and improved.

There are 3 part of mod that video dont say about (Dont read if you not interested): -The first is about Wigglypuff (Jigglypuff on Pico song), this is from a creppypasta that called "DISABLED" and it say about a girl player bought a Pokemon Gameboy that she using Wigglypuff on that. By Wigglypuff status call "Amusia", Wigglypuff is being more despair and scary after a time of playing, and at the moment, it scream "WHy cant i sing?" and other thing like that to the player screen ,that why you see Wigglypuff started to look at you during the battle with Ponyta and Wigglypuff cant kill you on game screen due its condition (But there supposed to have a jumpscare of Wigglypuff for that) -The second is about "ShytNo" (Not actually the real name, just call it is Shinto), not so much thing about it but this version of Hypno is impossible to caught (You can use code cheat or hack to do it possible, that why Shinto call you are cheat at the end of 1st song) , and about Grey (The pokemon trainer that you play as) is the lost soul kid whom his developer put on the game instead of coding. At the end of second song, you can hear a talk and "Grey" scream ( That scream maybe from who controlling Grey got killed by Hypno jump out of the game, but it might be the game character scream due the animation of it not work). -And the last is Pasta Night that you see Hypno, Lord X, MX is playing UNO cards. There also have many famous creepypasta character or some easter eggs at back that i cant tell all. Also you can choose characters to play the song (MX is using Pow item if you choose other, Hypno will use hypnosis if you choose other, and Lord X do nothing and it is hardest if you choose play as him).

My only coding experience was in 7th grade where I got to experiment with a block coding website, which essentially just means it was dumbed down enough for my 12 year old stoopid baby brain to understand it, and even then the apps were very simple and still had loads of problems as is. But yeah, I basically have the same mindset as you.

According to the lyrical version of bygone purpose hypno's heart collapsed when he couldn't save his trainer as he too was beaten down by her bullies so he became a monster by using his powers to make the bullies live through the nightmare he is condemned to, only it had the same effect on them as their bullying had on his trainer.

1:17, heck he actually did that in the games, and i wish i was kidding, in pokemon fire red or leaf green after you defeat blain, bill, ths scientist which you saved a lot before wouled ask for help from you, if you decide to exept you go for the sevii ilands, and bill's friend need a favor, he need a part of a macine in order to activate his machines you need to travel across the sevii ilands, and you can get that from the owner of the game corner of that game (or casino), and when you get to her he wouled panick since his daughter got missing, and when a random biker tells you where she is, you went to another iland, beat some bikers who try to harras the pokemart owner of that iland, and will go to berry forest, and when u made it threw you wouled see a girl and she is saying for the player to run beacuse hypno kidnaped her, and then hypno attacks you but you can do 1 of 3 things to save the girl, Defeat, Catch and Run, after you done 1 of those you saved the kidapped girl, she wont to her home with you, her father give you the machine part which bill's friend need, you give it to him and you return to kanto.

I miss when the internet was fully uncensored and you could say whatever you want and nobody really cared and if they did they would fight back. Twitter is a cesspool of sensitive individuals that can't cope with certain words and expressions. Banbuds didn't deserve that over something as small as that. Compared to the rest of the internet that was nothing but a spec of dust but people will just find a reason to cancel and call it justice.

from what i remember at 2:46 with tge small hypno he was looking at the remains of his trainer and some Shadowy figuers start laughing and saying "wow she actually jumped" at 2:53 the actualy evolved hypno is thinking to jump off he is remembering what we just saw the little version of him this is where he "snaps" after the spirt of his trainer disapers he starts his journey of well kidnaping kids thats all i remember sorry if it's wrong

Favourite gen 2 pokemon is definitely Crobat, i was so happy when I found out zubat could evolve (I wasnt around when gen 2 first came out) and Crobat is all round a great pokemon to use, other than the whole friendship evolution
