dear zac, thank you for sharing your art with the world. i am perpetually amazed by how entirely your music helps my mind and body decompress. i am dealing with chronic nerve pain from a spinal cord defect that i’m getting surgery for soon, and am so very scared and so ouchy it feels unbearable. finding your channel is seriously revelatory. your music is profoundly soothing, it has such a measurable impact on my quality of life, for real. i am breathing more deeply and slowly, producing less cortisol and adrenaline and able to slip into the sweetness of deep sleep despite the intensity of pain and fear gripping me. it’s not hyperbolic to say that your music is life changing for me, and it touches my heart that so many others all over the world are similarly soothed. thank you zac. and to anyone who may be reading this - we can endure and overcome more than we know. in the midst of challenges there is also solace. you are loved.

This music has been a great source of comfort for me, during my sleep and if needed during my day My wife and our grandson were killed 99 days ago My grief is equal to our love- incredibly large and deep I believe this has helped through not only sleep but with trauma loops that I have experienced Thank you for your service- this is much more here then music

@@jamesd5767 yeah. Thunder is bad, and my heart goes out to everyone who's been affected, injured, or killed by thunder, and their families and friends. But they just meant the sound of the thunder is soothing to them, and helps them sleep. What works for you to help you sleep, and relax just works. They're not a bad person for finding a sound soothing. Sleep well.

Thunder doesn't destroy anything it's just the rapid expansion of air around lightening. I also find thunderstorms soothing, and I don't appreciate you passing judgement on something so innocuous as that.

It’s 2am and I accidentally opened this video.. it’s bringing back so much pain and sadness because it triggers this memory that I’ve been trying to get through.. when I hear this it reminds me of the nights getting cozy in bed next to my partner, he’d be asleep and sometimes it would be hard for me to fall asleep that this was one of my last efforts, I’d put this on cuddle up next to him and just close my eyes. Last year we lost so much, our house and our relationship💔we separated last September, and things haven’t been the same. The distance between us grows further with each day, it hurts so much. I wish we could go back.. there’s so many things I’d do different:( I just wish I could feel you next to me , I wish I could wake up next to you again:( ilysm

FOAD, I've never felt your pain but I can imagine it and it scares me to death. Six months later, I hope you're doing better. All our lives, one minute things are good, normal and the next minute WHAM! It's changed. That's because literally nothing in life is permanent. Try to meditate on that a couple of times a day. Nothing is permanent. Things wear out and break down. The living leave us and/or eventually die (people, pets). It becomes time to let go and move on from them. It's the natural cycle of life. We can and must survive it. Otherwise, we suffer terribly until we die and what's the point of that? Life is for doing the best we can until it's over. I wish you well and peace 🕊.

I broke up with my girlfriend last week and I’m still a bit in pain because she even haunts my dreams at night but luckily I have this music to help me sleep a little better at night. Just had the best dreams ever listening to this. Was in some nice field and people had these silver RVs and had these giant like fat chipmunk hedgehog pets. I was hanging out with my father in law and some friends and we were talking about DMT and eating really good food. The pets were the best part though, size of dogs and happy and snuffling my fingers. No idea why that was a thing in this dream but in the background was your music flowing through my headset. Your music is always the best - thank you Zac. There aren’t enough words for how much you have helped me. So I figured I’d share a dream that I hated to wake up from but your music got me there and back again.

I have insomnia and just read ur post.. I have experienced this as well and also my oldest child has ghosted me for her dad, as if u have to choose but she doesn’t so I recall snuggling w my kids after reading & falling into beautiful sleep then wake up and crawl in bed w my dogs and husband. I am crying but thank you for sharing My heart goes out to you, to anyone to cannot sleep bc we were abused, have PTSD and anxiety etc. I’m on night 5 and feeling scared bc the ER is scary. Something is wrong but each night I at least rest my nervous system and listen to these. Life can just be hard. But the sun sets to rise is the way I get thru.

I always listen to these videos and have done for a year now, to soothe me in the nights but this is my first comment. I just want to say a massive thank you from a 15 year old listener, I have recently lost my grandfather and have been struggling with sleep and these videos help me so much. Not only this but a couple of months ago I suffered from exam stress and anxiety as well as the added pressure of exams too. Whenever my head hits the pillow I can’t seem to shut my brain off due to overthinking. But every night I put these videos on alongside my eye mask and lavender pillow spray and they help me so much. Oooh, a new video!!! I said in a comment on the last video that my boyfriend and I both love these, however he is away on a trip. In a few days I'm moving to his home state, and I know I'm going to love this video. I'm moving from Ohio, with her glorious summer downpours and thunder, to dry desert with only occasional storms. Bless you, Zac! I have an important test tomorrow for a new job and my anxiety is really high. I was already getting more anxious about that and getting enough sleep and that was keeping me from going to bed at a reasonable time. Now I know I will sleep great and be well rested for my test! I just lost a pet who was very close to my heart, and I have old trauma of animals dying, so I've been having a pretty horrible time. Being triggered with something that was so close to my heart has made my days a living nightmare. I can't fall asleep unless I'm listening to something but most things keep my brain just that little bit awake and I can't sleep. But not this. This stuff is perfect, it's sound enough for me to not get antsy or bored but not enough sound to keep me awake. And I love crickets and thunder so I love that

The kind of music that makes me close my eyes, take some deep breath, relax...let my soul, pure essence of my being, return back to its route..origin..to it's calmest most, purest most, potent most self. I feel luminous mushrooms growing around me, seated in a purplish forest, ravens and unicorns, fireflies, dozens of dreams hanging like colourful flowers from trees unknown. Next instant I see an archaic Indian house, it's finely designed texture, its large beautifully crafted dooms, a humungous verandah..I don't know what does this mean..maybe my soul taking trips to the previous births, or maybe a future waiting to be discovered. Just that am peaceful and somber and in myself, immersed, fully.

One of my favorites. I looove staring at this visual picturing myself on a bluff villa listening to a storm roll in over the city a few miles away until my eyes get heavy as I drift off to sleep

This one was a winner for me. I typically can’t handle thunderstorms (sensory disorder) however, this was well done. I did wake up during the night yet I felt pretty chill for the most part. Thank you for the work you do Zac.
