That is basically what my lecturer wants us to know about the pituitary. However, it took him an hour to explain this. Thanks Mike.

Thank you! Really helpful because you break down the information into the key pieces, a lot easier to understand than channels which are more wordy when trying to grasp the concepts!

was looking for something a layman like me can understand that wasn't too overly basic. this hit the spot. trying to understand my endocrine system better for health and 'anti-aging'

I'm studying for my anatomy and physiology final exam and I'm mad at myself for not finding these videos sooner. Great explanations! I actually feel I understand the material now as opposed to simply memorizing terms. Thank you!

This is a really excellent video, and things finally make sense! Can I ask how the hypothalamus actually transmits the hormones to the posterior pituitary to be stored? I didn't realise you could physically transmit hormones through neurons

I have a question I have pituitary enlargement also elevated prolactin levels I’ve had this situation since 2008. On May 1st 2017 I had ratical total nephrectomy my entire right kidney was removed due to a 7cm cancerous tumor found. Could my pituitary enlargement be connected to the tumor in my kidney? Since the hypothalamus activates the pituitary gland which in turn activates the adrenal gland.
