In this video, I have shown how we can capture screenshots using selenium web driver.
The concept of taking a screenshot in Selenium is very much useful and important as well
In order to capture a screenshot in Selenium, one has to utilize the method TakesScreenshot.
This notifies the WebDriver that it should take a screenshot in Selenium and store it.

Hey buddy kudos to ur layman’s explanation…appreciate much Have few queries 1) we don’t know where execution will fail, So after that step need to take screenshots. How can we achieve this? 2)Need complete scenario execution if it fails 1 or more validation steps, so how will take those all screenshots? Can help on these scenarios??

why does it only capture a part when i want to capture the whole body? Do you need a For() loop?

This video is recorded with selenium 3 version and there is option for taking the fullpage screenshots using selenium 3. In selenium 4, you can capture the full page screenshots using the method "getFullPageScreenshotAs"

The same code but you have to call this code in onTestFailure method. Incase you are using the TestNG, implement the ITestListener or use ITestResult in aftermethod annotation.

How do you differentiate the files then? all the files can't have the same name as per the operating system standards. If you don’t t want to provide the name each and every time then you can implement something like timestamp. eg:img_040120222045540
