In Tales of tales of zestiria you can kill the big bad about halfway through (granted its difficult a** fight) and if you do, you get the worst ending because of how their world works lol.

If it doesn't I'm rioting. Also, if it does, this will be the second Link ever to have 3 games (Wind Waker Link being the first). Even though OoT/MM Link was technically in Twilight Princess he didn't resemble himself at all, nor was he playable.

Link in Spirit Tracks is not the same Link from WW/PH... Spirit Tracks takes place 100 or more years after Link and Tetra founded New Hyrule with both Zelda and Link being descendants of Tetra and Link from the previous 2 games... The first Link to be in 3 games would be ALttP/LA/OoX... This would however be the first direct trilogy in the series..

Dynasty Warriors games have alternate ending despite following a story book that has a definite and tragic ending. We just might find a noncanon ending in this game.

@@anonymouswatcher5162 I think Nintendo made the timeline wrong, but if they really made the connection of the lines through a dragon-break then we could see them split again. Maybe some interesting scenarios could play out, a old champion living to see link again as an elder. Who knows, we'll have to see in only 9 days.

It's actually from the first ganon fight 10,000 years ago. It is not specified what caused it but most people believe it was probably a divine beast missing it's target. That's what it says in the creating a champion book.
