The second this started I fell in love with the piece. And then Revali’s theme hit in the Ace Archer Phase 1 and I nearly cried. This piece is AMAZING Tim! I love it so much!! Keep up your amazing work!!

Revali's Theme really hits you like that in Ace Archer. It's just so gooood. I'm no expert so I can't give an expert analysis, but if I had an expert analyze this they'd probably say "yep, this here is a masterpiece."

@@alightning1651 are you sure? They are usually referred to in the game as “the 4 champions” or sometimes “the 5 champions”, when they include link.

@@alightning1651 Impa wasn’t a champion she didn’t pilot a Divine Beast, she’s a Royal adviser. She was undoubtedly part of the squad though.

@@adams3616 it’s 6 champions, Zelda was the commander of the Champions, assisted by her appointed knight, Link, and the chosen four Divine Beasts pilots; Daruk, Mipha, Revali and Urbosa. Impa is not a champion

Started replaying BOTW again and listening to the AOC soundtrack, and the thing that always gets me...Revali's theme feels like soaring. His track in BOTW is beautiful, but it's usually calm, or very sobering, even wistful...but in AOC, he's at the height of his power, and it shows. For as arrogant as he is (I love you, you stupid bird man), there's something about his motifs that just feel so free and triumphant. Hearing it in your beautiful piano just makes it all the more poignant. Thank you.

Thanks, Taylor (& Matisse). Zelda music fits my own musical style and tastes really well so there was no doubt I'd be all over this the second it released! xD As for the million subscribers: it takes skill, hard work (both of which I'm doing my best on) - AND luck. I can't really do much about the latter so will just keep trucking along with the former!

Spoilers below! In the Medoh fight after you have Teba there is an amazingly wholesome conversation between Teba and Revali about the training range in the present day. It is things like that that make me love the time travel in this game

yeah !! i think it’s rly wholesome when you consider the botw dlc : there’s special dialogue from the champions every time you beat the blight ganons again , and revali says something about nobody remembering him in the village although we can tell from teba and many others that he’s a legend many rito warriors look up to

Yeah, many of the rhythms in the left hand are quite tricky and have to be ingrained into muscle memory!

I like Revali because he may be kind of ass to some people, but he’s genuine and you can see that in how he prides himself in his work. His battle presence and just how he works hard and if he sees someone do better, he works harder. That so admirable and relatable that he pushes himself harder and harder because he sees everything as a challenge.

Why'd the theme change so much? It's hardly recognizable as Revalis Theme from BotW, I wonder why they changed it for Age of Calamity, it takes a while for it to sound familiar edit: I still love it though

I don't think the soundtrack has been released officially just yet, so I can't put up this track for sale yet... There's a lot other Zelda arrangements of mine for sale on Spotify, Apple Music etc. though =) .
