Hyrule Warriors is a hack-and-slash action video game developed by Omega Force andTeam Ninja for Wii U video game console. Hyrule Warriors was released in Japan in August 2014, and internationally the following month. The game is a collaboration between Koei Tecmoand Nintendo, and is part of both Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda and Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors series. It is one of the best-selling games on the Wii U. An updated port for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, titled Hyrule Warriors Legends was released in Japan in January 2016, and worldwide in March 2016.

Playing on the regular 3DS is certainly not as good as the New 3DS, but it's not NEARLY as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I dont know why people are complaining so much about it, I got used to the lower frame rate on the regular 3DS like 2 minutes into the game

I have to agree, for a while I was nervous playing this after hearing that it was unplayable on an OG 3DS but in the end that was completely untrue. Sure there is some slowdown but once I got into the action I stopped noticing it at all.

Dash123456789Brawl Pretty sure I remember roving hoards of human hating monsters, zombies, and ghosts being a constant throughout Hyrule's history. Can't even go to the next town over to buy some milk without being accosted by slimes or lizardmen.

That's why people are saying Awakening's spot might be reserved for Groose, because Marin is the only rep they could use there, and she doesn't really deserve it. But PH/ST is definitely Linebeck, and LBW is Yuga, Ravio, and/or Hilda.

+jakepeter Personally I think Europe got the better extra with the game. I do want that artbook but I'm pretty happy with this compass, it actually feels like a nice, new Zelda themed collectible. An artbook can be easily bought after the game's launch. Let's hope both US and EU get a nice Collector's Edition for Zelda WiiU.

+Tristan Crawford From what I can tell,once you buy the game for the 3ds,it gives you a code containing the new character for the Wii U.The code would be located in the nintendo Eshop receipt. ~.~.Long story short,You buy the game for the 3ds and it gives you the code for the Wii U.

lilduy15 I know that already. I'm talking about the 3DS content as DLC for the Wii U so you don't have to buy the 3DS version. Plus the 3DS code doesn't even give you ALL of the new content. Just the new characters (and I'm not even sure if it's all of the new characters).

+Tristan Crawford The code that comes with the 3DS version gives you the new characters that are in the 3DS version now for Wii U. They already announced more DLC that will give future new characters for the Wii U. They've only announced the DLC for characters only and I doubt they'll give anything else which is a shame.

I got to say, I honestly think this game looks pretty good on the 3DS. I know it's not as good as the Wii U version, but I really like the idea of this game on the go. And swapping characters is something I really wish was in the Wii U version when I borrowed it from my brother in law. I still don't own this game and it has Wind Waker content. I'm definitely buying this version.

I guess the footage I saw before was from the regular 3DS. This video doesn't look half bad! Wish the Wii U version had the option to switch between characters. I might've kept the game instead of selling it to GameStop. :P

+CV Anims I can confirm that the New 3DS runs the game at a near consistent 60 FPS. The only drops I've seen were when there was a ton of stuff happening on screen, as well as when you have the 3D turned on. Thankfully, this is a rare occurrence

I just bought it and played it on my normal 3DS XL. The lag isn't that bad, for me anyway since I played a lot of Hyrule Warriors. The performance is very similar to my Wii U's performance (when the lag gets heavy on Wii U occasionally). And the game is actually harder, not because it's laggier. I was pleased to find they added more challenges in the Legend mode that test your ability to manage multiple characters. It's a good thing they added the recon part, it's actually more fun that way. Get the New3DS for the best experience. I'm actually enjoying it again like the first time I bought Hyrule Warriors.

Nintendo if you can read this please ad this into an update in the SuperMario Maker 100 Mario challenge. Add a new difficulty called imposible,last stand,imposible ending, or any thing you can imagine for a title diff. Then add 1 or 3 levels in the difficulty then add only user created levels with 1.00 to 0.01 percent clear rate. You can add Ross's levels or Penga's levels. Please read this for future updates please. 😄
