This exact question/topic is what I’ve been worried about for so long. The fact that they want cross play right off the bat worries me that they’ll nerf what Hytale could’ve been for pc, what I mean is I don’t want them to downgrade an aspect of Hytale so it can run on phones (mob spawn frequency, amount of mobs…etc) similar to how Bedrock Edition has mobs spawn less frequently and in smaller groups compared to Java. I hope their want to have cross play from the getgo doesn’t nerf the game for the sake of performance on phones and consoles.

Maybe they will make it like Minecraft like have 2 different versions one for mobile and one for computers and etc

@@HPkobold no no, hytale tienen generación diferente, ves Terraria todo el contenido que tiene y aun asi va perfecto? Pues todo ese contenido no seria siquiera pensable antes

@@VidrieraZ not really, hytale is totally different at every things comparing to minecraft. They used different coding and game engine for graphics I guess. If not, then maybe the PC version will probably get a good graphics as it has better processor but it's just a computer feature not in game But in mobile they may decrease the graphics for performance. I mean I think it's a pretty BIG game maybe even more than minecraft.

So I do have to say this the lighting in hytale is alot more detailed then in Minecraft you have things like godrays/lightshafts realtime shadows and dynamic held lights and I saw from an old blog post the ice has a transparent scattering effect so I do think the game will be way better optimized the lighting in the game is much more detaled

Mobile might not specifically refer to cell phones, It could refer to devices like the nintendo switch or steam deck

@@3tap True, but I'm saying Maybe mobile has a broader term in the hiring agency, I do personally think it's coming to mobile, but I also see a lot of struggles for the team with that, so I'm just throwing out ideas based on what I do know

K nothing new here but yea I can see it already falling into the terrible mobile stuff as in paying for skins or items but I pray it doesn't but sadly if the game is free to play than it will happen 100% so then we must pray it don't become the worst thing ever......... pay to progress, I doubt we will get to that level but you never know man but since this is riot I think the best outcome is your able to buy riot skins from like league of legends or skins from the other games and run around as your favorite character. Now the best outcome that will most likely never happen is you buy the game once and you can play it on everything under that one account but I highly doubt this. Also Minecraft pocket addition has microtransactions for worlds and some weird form of modding that you can pay for but of course it still has regular modding that is free soooooo yea.

I'm sure it will only be for cosmetics and other things like that. Maybe animation packs, or accessories. Riot is known for just doing cosmetics, and I doubt they would back something pay to win/pay to progress. Personally, I think it's best-case scenario to have the game free and have things to buy in-game. Hytale will gain much more money that way, and there will be more players. A win-win for the players, the only price we pay is what we choose to.
