Hyuna has been in music industry for almost 15 years! She debuted in 2007 as one of the original members of the girl band WonderGirls, but for health reasons (secondary gastritis and very frequent fainting spells) her parents decided to ask for her to cancel her contract with the JYP label. It was mostly about her health. Later in 2009, Hyuna returned to the stage with her band 4Minute under the label CUBE, and then in 2010 she made her solo debut with the song "Change". She became the first sexy concept icon in Korean show business, which got her banned from Korean television multiple times, but that didn't hurt her career. Month by month, she became more and more popular to the point that PSY invited her to participate in his music video for the song "Gangnam Style". The song was a worldwide hit and so PSY decided to record a separate version of the song along with Hyuna's vocals! Her career has been and is truly storied, so I recommend you look through the various articles and blogs about her! Generally let's go to the point where she was kicked off the label she was actually the main source of income for most of the time. The trio Triple H debuted in 2017 with Hyuna, E'Dawn (now: Dawn), and Hui. And practically from the beginning, there were rumors about Hyuna and E'Dawn's alleged relationship. And so there were numerous articles popping up in 2018, and the moment Hyuna along with E'Dawn revealed that they've been in a relationship for several years (this year will probably be 6), it was the CUBE label that released an official statement to deny all rumors. So it comes out that they didn't consult anything with their artists. Later on, CUBE gave the press that they were going to kick out the couple and suddenly Hyuna's entire schedule was cancelled. All events, performances, and other meetings were cancelled by the record label, and Hyuna didn't know why. She wrote an official letter asking for an amicable cancellation of her contract. She explained that she had done so much good for the label that she didn't deserve to hear from the media that she had been fired. She also threatened that if they finally didn't give her a clear answer, she'd go to the press and handle things differently. And it all ended, probably on good terms. Hyuna and Dawn as free artists started looking for a new label. Then Hyuna's old friend PSY showed up and offered her to join his new label. And so in 2019, Hyuna already on a new label returned to the scene with the single "Flower Shower," while Dawn made his debut as a solo artist with the song "Money." I red the other comments and I'm just gonna fill in a few more things ^^ Hyuna is known to the public as the sexy queen from the 2 gen era, she's also known in the industry as a down to earth, nice person, she's close friends with a lot of her staffs and backup dancers, she also has a KZfaq channel where she vlogs once in a while, her and dawn live together I believe (with 2 dogs!), so there's a lot of lovey dovey moments Dawn is known as a phenomenal dancer, rapper, composer, writer and he can sing too! he was a top tier trainee in Cube back then together, they are known as THE power couple, often described as a duo with Joker and Harley Quinn aesthetics after they're signed to P Nation, they told us their love story on a tv show so Hyuna being the A class idol she is, she can't just start dating this trainee guy in her company (dawn), and she didn't want to ruin his career, so she literally pinned after him for ~2 years lol they became really good friends during that time, dawn didn't even think about her that way, cuz he thinks she is out of his league she eventually confessed, not thinking this would progress in any way, but Dawn was like I don't care if my career will fail because of this, so they started dating (｡・//////・｡) so at this point, Dawn is either freshly debut with Pentagon, or about to debut they literally have been dating through his whole idol career a year after Pentagon's debut, Triple H came along, idk if the company Cube knew at that point yet, but sometime during Triple H, Cube definitely know, they even filmed kiss scenes for MVs and we all thought it was camera angles lmao so the company let them date, but they just can't have serious scandals, well, they did, Hyuna and Dawn didn't want to hide and lie, so they confirmed the news, Cube literally fired their no.1 artist over the media the next day, Hyuna was the one who made cube to where it is now, and this is how they repay her anyways, I've rambled way too long, they're now under Psy's company and they have all artistic freedom, Dawn made most of the music on the album and Hyuna came up with the concepts, visuals etc. :D
