I have exter cng that means more weight in the back coz of cng tank. one day i had to stuff 4 people in the back due to unforeseen events in the rain. I was so worried because of the you tube videos. So just to check I purposely drove my car in the dich and drove fast on speed breakers. It didn't bottom out even with 6 adults. Please do not fall for the rumours. If its your first car and your priority is ride quality, comfort,engine and after sell service and value for money, Go for it. That doesn't mean other cars in the segment are bad. Honda,Nissan,Toyota and skoda offers more performance and long lasting engines but you will have to invest more initially and lot more for maintenance. Stay true to your values and you will never choose a wrong car. There is not one best car for everyone. But everyone can get a best car for themselves if they choose the right one as per their needs. 😉

Bhai explanation देने से अच्छा है, लाइव demonstration do. Total 5 log बैठाओ और समान भी लोड करो, फिर ड्राइव करो। ऊबड़ खाबड़ जगह और ब्रेकर पर से चलाओ और उसका ही टायर वाला वीडियो दिखाओ। तब सही पता चलेगा।

भाई, जो आप कह रहे हो वो एकदम सही है कि वीडियो बनाकर सब कुछ सही तरीके से दिखाया जा सकता है 📹। मेरे साथ भी ऐसी स्थिति आयी थी जब मुझे पीछे 4 लोगों को और आगे 2 लोगों को बैठाना पड़ा। उस समय सब मेरे रिश्तेदार थे और थोड़ा इमरजेंसी थी, तो वीडियो बनाना पॉसिबल नहीं था, इसलिए अभी के लिए सिर्फ समझाया है 🤷‍♂। अभी मेरा चैनल छोटा है, और 5 लोगों को तैयार करके कार के अंदर बैठाकर फिर किसी खराब रास्ते पर जाना 🚗, और बाहर से किसी और से वीडियो बनवाना या फिर GoPro इस्तेमाल करके सिर्फ टायर का वीडियो लेना, इसमें काफी खर्चा है 📈। सिर्फ GoPro ही 30 हजार का आएगा, और मुझे अभी तक KZfaq से 1 रुपया तक नहीं मिला है 😅। अगर भगवान ने चाहा और मेरा कोई वीडियो चल गया, जिसमें अच्छे views आ गए, तो ज़रूर ऐसा वीडियो बनाऊंगा 🙏🎬।

I already did a drive test Exter vs Punch i agree Exter is far better than Punch but for off-road i think Punch will have much advance but overall Exter is the best..in term of safety it depend on how we drive

Agreed. I also own exter and haven't faced any suspension issue so far, bcoz as you pointed out in the video, the cladding and wheel are not in the same plane.... Wheel is slightly inside, a very imp point missed by most reviewers.

yup, also those youtubers who pointed out this thing on Exter on the day of launch have never tried same thing on any other car till now so I think that they were paid to pinpoint this suspension issue in Exter.

I am a hyundai fan. Using grand i10 manual from 7 years. Planning to go for exter. Shall I go for automatic or manual? Automatic me jyada jhatke lagte hain kya while gear shifting?

It depends upon your needs whether to go for automatic or manual. If you are going to drive in heavy traffic frequently then automatic is best else buy manual and save money. jhatke lagte hai only when you revv hard but still it is well contained in hyundai as compared to other cars. I also had grand i10 nios and then i exchanged it with Exter.

I have driven it 6000kms now in all type of bad roads with 5 adults and few of the times 6 adults also but it has never bottomed out. there is no issue bro, those youtubers have just pointed out the thing which is common in most of the cars. I have seen same suspension in magnite, venue, i10 nios , kia carens etc. these are the cars which I have driven many times and you can check by yourself too. But no one has pointed this out in other cars thats the actual issue.

No, ground clearance will remain the same. Only the suspension is going down and not the underbody of the car.

We understand that its not the issue with suspension getting bottom out with 5 people sitting or with heavy load but where Hyundai done wrong is that it looks very pathetic and suppressed with 5 people sitting of average weight and because exter has SUV looks so it looks even more pathetic in this design. That is why people may not want to go fir it otherwise its a practical car at this budget but this too much of soft suspension issue is the unfortunate point which is becoming the deal breaker thing for this car. Otherwise if this would not have been there then i am pretty sure the sales figures of this car would have been much better then the current one.

As I mentioned in the video, the same issue applies to the i10 Nios (hatchback), Nissan Magnite (SUV), and Kia Carens etc. However, unlike the Exter, no one pointed out this suspension issue with these cars on their launch day. This leads me to believe that the criticism of the Exter's suspension was a deliberate attempt at negative marketing, rather than a genuine concern.

@@onesujeet When i see exter on road...it actually looks not that bad as people have shown on it on youtube. As you have owned it, can you tell if the rear suspension looks ugly if there will be 3 people sitting in back with luggage or it can be manageable and doesn't look ugly? I really like this car and want to buy but only confused due to the suspension issue. Does showroom can make changes to suspension if we want to customize it as per our needs?

@@shubhamsingh240 to me it looks just like any other car would look when 3 passengers are sitting at back and luggage is full. And if you are still concerned about the suspension travel then you can get Rogerab suspension (might cost 4k) installed which will reduce the suspension travel. I would suggest you to take test drive with 5 passengers and drive on speed brakers, bad roads. When I was planning to buy it 6 months back I had also watched several videos on youtube so I took the test drive and then I realized that most of the youtubers are just making type of videos which will fetch them views and nothing else.

Although i have heard that AMT of hyundai is more reliable and better then other brands. You think so? Also do you think it has better space or same or less space for 3 people sitting in back in compare with same cars in segment like swift, i10 nios, punch etc? Asking you as you are using it on day to day basis so can answer better.

@@123456agupta the effect in bodyroll after installing these suspension cushion rogerab is minimal and changes in suspension stiffness caused by Rogerab could affect how the car behaves and how ESC/VSM interprets sensor data. This might increase the bodyroll even more. This is my understanding and I hope I am not wrong 😬. Once you install these please share the review, it will be very helpful. I use to drive fast when I had i10 nios but now I drive under speed limits and so bodyroll felt is less.

@@onesujeet here is review for suspension cushion buffer. He installed suspension cushion buffer in exter. Installed in the middle of suspension bcoz sensors is in extreme top and bottom.
