There are some vids out there with procedures to perform this task, but this video is truly the appropriate way to do it. Maybe I would add, is to put very little soft glue on each one of the 4 holes where the cradle inserts, so you can be sure it will never come off and yet you can perform the same procedure if needed on the future. Thanks, great tutorial, worked fine ! Important: You have to take care when removing the key pad frame, it easily can get broken - especially when there are remains of the old rubber keypad around it.

Thank you for this amazing video i was able to change my keypad thanks to this video, the filing of the small tabs on the plastic thing really is crucial else it doesn't go back in. I changed my Xcent keypad.

Excellent product from FlipKeys, the key instruction is to rub the pins of the case once you remove it to install the new keypad. Otherwise its difficult to push the kepad case back in. Remember that you don't have to do any new fix to the new keypad. Only the case in the key with 4 pins need slight rubbing. Thanks to FlipKeys.

Can i know why did you modify the frame? I think you can put the rubber pad on the frame firmly as you did and click the frame back in place without modifying the plastic frame.

Terrific instruction. Take care in removing the keypad frame and be VERY patient in filing the pins. Result is a new looking and working fob. I have a Kia Rio. Thank you... saved a bundle $$$.
