The new i30 N has an updated 280 PS flat power engine, updated design, and lightweight wheels and seats
It is the first Hyundai N model in Europe to feature N DCT, an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission
New i30 N comes with a variety of features to enhance the sporty, high-performance character of the car
In addition, the new i30 N comes with the latest Hyundai SmartSense active safety features and Bluelink connectivity technology
The i30 N has new and unique high-performance exterior design elements, including a more aggressive front bumper, a new cascading grille design, and new LED headlamps with V-shape DRL and black bezel
• The rear features a glossy black spoiler
• It features new 19-inch forged alloy wheels for the 280 PS model (18-inch wheels for the 250 PS model) with red brake callipers
• The car comes in seven exterior colours, including the signature colour of Hyundai N: Performance Blue
• Interior design is now even more focused on connecting the driver with the car at all touch points
• Features include paddle shifters for a more sporty feeling in combination with the new N DCT and optional N Light Sports Bucket Seat Package (N Light Seats)
The Hyundai i30 N originally launched in 2017, selling over 28,000 units in Europe alone and winning a number of awards, including the Auto Bild Sports Car of the Year 2018 and 2020. In 2020, i30 N was “Import Winner” in the “Small and Compact Car” category in the 2020 Auto Bild Sports Cars Award. Hyundai N models have inspired a community of fans known as “N-thusiasts”.
The new i30 N builds on the successes of its predecessor, offering a range of design and driving enhancements. It is equipped with more lightweight materials, resulting in more agility and better handling. Like its antecedent model, the new i30 N is available in both hatchback and fastback body types.
The new i30 N has been enhanced with a new design focused on performance, emotion and statement. For the first time, the new i30 N will be available with N DCT, an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which offers paddle shifters and enables three new N performance functions for an even sportier driving experience. New 19-inch forged alloy wheels and N Light Seats further reduce the weight, resulting in more agile handling. Additional high-performance driving features combined with updated safety and connectivity technology makes the new i30 N a racetrack capable everyday sports car.

i get mine in august. In black and with DCT. Its hard to wait another 3 months. I am so excited for it. I did the test drive already and bought it right after. amazing car.

Excellent reviews always, thanks! My first thought was indeed the i30 N Performance, but the interior was disappointing (too much hard plastic), especially if you were to choose a red color with a black interior, the blue accents remain, which I find very disturbing when you look at the i30 1.6. stitching is red which gives a better contrast. I therefore decided to take the KIA Cee'd 1.6 GT with a slightly more luxurious interior with, for example, the JBL sound system and the padded armrests, 204 hp also work well and the sound with pops & bangs is a bit more pleasant. In addition, the comfort is better for our use. We mainly drive in the city and occasionally on the highway. Definitely not an electric car for us, I can say, we are both 62 and perhaps old-fashioned, but we want the original (acceleration engine sound) and no future buzzing of a drone on rubber tires ! 🙃

In my point of view 😊 the car has too much cheap plastic inside. Plus other minor irritating elements such as bulbs indicators who simply doesn’t fit to the hot hatch at all.
