Hyundai Lock Horn - How To Turn It Off

I made this video to show those who are looking to turn off their lock horn on their Hyundai. This should work or any model. I am unsure if this works on models earlier then a 2017 but it's worth a shot. I found in my search that people were disconnecting a wiring harness from a module located on the passenger side strut tower. I just don't know how effective this will be or if it's even a smart thing to do. What I would like to do is wire my lock horn to my actual horn in the future to do away with that wimpy toot. Man, I'd prefer toot toot over the loud honk. It makes others in the vicinity of my car jump, everytime, haha. Thanks!

THANK YOU, SIR!! My wife somehow reprogrammed the car to make the horn sound when arming the vehicle. The manual for the car-(2019 Hyundai Santa Fe) says nothing about this at all. I watched many videos about silencing the horn when setting the alarm and none worked. I looked further and found your video. Fabulous!!!! Easy to follow video let me go out to the car, bring up the menu and SHUT THE DAMNED THING OFF. It's people like you that make the world a better place. Thank you! Funny why do they need two horns lol. One for lock and one for the steering wheel

LoL I turn it off cause it's sound like a cheap Hyundai accent or just cheap car in general lol
