No, all you need to do is tap on the speakers wires and tap into one ignition wire, the main power goes to the battery. That’s all for the subwoofer.

@@jfwtechnologytravelandphot6536 Thanks, I'm not putting in speakers, I want to remove the seat to make platform for a place to sleep when I'm traveling, I'm just wondering if there's any wires connected to the seat that I have to unhook?

No wires connected to the seats, or the back rest. They are light and easy to take in or out

Hi Eduardo, the sub have all you need. It have its own amp, all you need to do is run a power wire to the battery, an ignition wire to the fuse box , next to the steering wheel, and the speaker signal got my at the pillar on the driver side, is a easy installation. Find the amp on Crutchfild or Amazon

I replace the doors speakers with JBL speakers also replace the tweeters on the front doors with JBL tweeters. JF&W

Hi, for the way I play music , The one 8 is plenty, even when I go fishing or tailgating, withe the window down, I get plenty of bass from the 8. Now the 10’s have better sound than the 8 if you care to read all the reviews on line, Now I use the Santa Cruz as a fam car, my wife and grand kids ride with us some times, that is the second reason I when with the 8. Tray to go as many sound shops you can and tray out the subs and speakers, you will hear the difference on the 10 vs the 8. JF&W

No sensors on the back seat, take the bolt holding the seat part then the seat belts and then the back rest, very easy to do.

Hi Coffee Man, I do not work for a sound or car audio shop, I did go to most of the shops in Lakeland and some shops in Tampa to compare different speakers and woofer, most of the shops wanted to install the woofer under the passenger seat, some offered to cut the air vent under the seat to build and enclosure. After much consideration and research, and washing videos, and some shops help me with tips and how to run the wires, the rest was done by me. I’m a RV tech, have some know how on installation but never done a stereo like this that is way I’m showing how to take the back seat out and how much room you have behind the seat. The model with the bose system is the only one that have the wires for the sub. Thanks JF

Taking the rear seat out will not mess with the airbags , no wires or sensors are attached to the seat. I have the seats take out for over a week and nothing happened.
