She insists on going 20 or more mph over the speed limit! …LoL She’s a little speed demon, but I love her! :)

Very interesting, my favourite tricks I learned from this video: - Using rear hatch cargo cover as a bench to hold tools, etc while doing work on the rear - Velcro cargo net on the back of the seat - Custom photo on infotainment (you said you thought it was pretty basic, but it really isn't haha! Thanks a ton for sharing this one) -*My voice assistant used to ALWAYS Work for me, not it never works at all... Really wonder what happened but it stopped working for me like 6 months ago or so. She never understands what I say anymore :/ This video really shows how much you know about the Veloster platform man... Easily one of the most knowledgeable about our cars, thanks for the time it took to make this video.

It's unfortunate that most educating videos like this feature the North American VT, I have the European model that's slightly different and has less HP 🙈

Just bought a 2016 non-turbo version and didn’t realize there was a decent sized scene for this car. Great stuff. Didn’t realize the game console cord was a thing so now I’ve gotta hunt that down lol

As a veloster owner 2015 white. I recommend a cold air intake for the first upgrade! I love my CAI and the sound it makes is addicting lol. The intake will make the turbo sounds more noticeable. As well as the nice whip sound of the intake sucking in air. Next I did a muffler bypass. Basically the same thing as a muffler delete, but the muffler is still there so a cop wouldn’t be able to notice from looking under. It sounds very mean and it’s not obnoxious. I actually just took it on a road trip from SoCal-NorCal about 1000 miles and I didn’t notice droning at all. Flip it into eco and out of sport, it drives like a normal car. :) hope this helped someone out!

Awesome video! As for the headlights, do the Turbo and the RE:FLEX both use H11B bulbs? I have a 2015 Veloster RE:FLEX and the headlights look just like yours in the video. My driver's side main bulb is out and I want to make sure I know the right type before I purchase a new one. Also, do you know if they're typically LED or not? I want to make sure the old bulb and new bulb will match one another. I'd appreciate any tips!

Hell ya that bbe quick in the 90s. I had a laser turbo and that thing couldn't be touched . Except off the line by the stealth AWD. But I lose em on the big end everytime. Went over 180mph in that thing daily. 200hp was a ripper for a light car back in the day. Now ya pretty lame. But I tell ya I was pimping in high school with dat bad boy. Hahahahaha

Thank you for this. Just got a 2014 myself last week & love all your hacks! I'm ocd as all heck too so I'll be using the trunk hack for sure!! Once I get my blow off valve, I'll start the smaller stuff like that! Any recommendations for a good blow off valve? It's my first time having a Turbo & I don't want it to sound like crap when I shift(I HAD to get manual).... I hear a LOT of ppl drive & sounds like a gun shot goin off n I DEF don't want that. Unless it's their exhaust which I'm not gonna get into honestly.. Too much other expensive things to add once you get into that & unfortunately I just don't have the money to afford the exhaust, intake, etc... I'm happy w/ it just as it is, I just need that GORGEOUS sound to go with it!!! Lovvvve my car!!!!! Even got a Turbo Keychain from my fiance to go with it 🤣 BTW, your car is IMMACULATE & a beaut!!!!!! 😍😍🙌🙌

I would like to have seen an indepth video on the cluster as I would like to swap mine out. Can I also swap the mileage over to it? I have a 2014 VT.

5:43 If you get tired of always having to hold that button down every time you start the car you can take that switch out and put a jumper across the back connector of the switch so it does it automatically when you start the car. You have to know how to use a meter and determine which 2 wires are the switch signal and which are the power wires. There are 4 wires on the rear but you only jumper the 2 signal wires. Use the continuity checker on the meter, unplug the switch and connect to 2 wires at a time and press the button. When you have continuity then jumper those two wires. I used a small piece of a paperclip so I can remove it later if I want to sell the car. When you jumper the wires the switch no longer works but it will automatically turn off traction and stability controls.

I love my 2016 veloster turbo, I am the first user, and hate the dual clutch, recently just noticed when car shifts to 4th & 6th gear you feel car is jumping, it does not happen when speed is below 2000 RPM but noticeable above 2000 RPM anyone have idea of the issue!! Is it related to transmission oil or sensors!!

Gawd, if they ever even think of bringing back Wesker in some way, imagine having to deal with it in first person. You'd have to have break neck speed just to catch his ass, regardless though, I would love to see it happen
